good morning guys, may question lang ako regarding sa napapansin ko sa 07 gas carens ko thesedays. kumakatyot kasi cya during gear one pero di naman madalas ito at lumalabas lang kapag natrapik ako ng more than 1 hour sa daan at puro clutch, gear one at break ang ginagawa ko. kapag tuloy tuloy naman ang andar like if nag shift na ko sa gear 2 and up, normal naman cya at normal din ang makina during idle. yung pag kadyot ng carens ko ay yung parang kinakapos ng timpla sa gas na you need to step more on the gas pedal to just to have the right balance. nagtataka rin ako during forward accelaration lang pero during reverse wala naman abnormal. dadalhin ko cya sa kia pasig to check but i really need to have a general knowledge on what is happening to my carens muna para iwas denggoy ng casa sa kin just in case lang. thanks and hope have your replies soon.

Super useful and tough yung folded 3rd row seat. Often times, more than 100 kilos of cargo ang karga ko like 6 container of filtered water. HTH.

Already tried it both, front and back, NO change sa lift at the back...but ride is more smoother and comfortable at the back...I used O-Sulee A-size at the front and F-size at the back. Hope this help...

Sir, na-try mo na ba yung O-Sulee Spring Cushion?
I've try that sa Carens ko, pero sa front spring ko lang nilagyan. More of a protection to the shocks.
Not sure kung makakatulong ito para ma-lift yung rear even a little.

to Seymorebutts, ako po yung kumuha sa unit ni CRDiVGT and yes may machined piece sya naka-insert sa rear springs and di nga sag sa rear suspension.... oo suggest ko na lang try mo yung mmay nag-suggest sa taas na O-Sulee spring cushion....nakita ko na sya parang high-silicon content rubber material gamit nya.... it would most likely give your rear some lift in addition to the suspension bottoming out protection...

ah ok, so there is no chance na pala of getting one of those lifters/spacers

the spring cushion would be my last option sana, kasi gusto ko ng long term fix rather than the spring cushion which can break anytime. anyway, ill try look for other options.

Still reading the forum, though not very active. Just responding to some queries if I have an idea. Regarding the rubber hose wrapped over my spring, it is still intact.

Regarding lifting your rear a little, there are rubber lifters for sale in banawe, sometimes it was just peddled around by some freelancers. The main purpose is to lift and maybe a little of comfort. The O-sulee spring cushion would give a little lift and more comfort. I installed a set in my 2010 sorento. The ride became better than before. I installed one because I was using a size 20 rims and 45 series tires.

I suggest you have your shock absorber checked first, that maybe the source of the bottoming of the Carens rear. Anyway, it seems the rear of the carens is really lower than the front.

Sir Dodongo, try mo KIA Quirino. Doon ko binili Carens ko nung 2008 at hanggang ngayon, walang major problems maliban sa replacement nung clutch and dual mass (under warranty) dahil kay Ondoy. Lumubog yung kotse hanggang top ng gulong pero tumakbo pa rin the next day. Cleaning and draining lang ang ginawa sa passenger compartment at starter at checking sa makina. Mabait pa yung service staff nila. Marami na akong napalitan na parts under warranty including both headlight assembly dahil ipinaglalaban nila ang kanilang customers. Hanapin ninyo si Let o si Cristian at sabihin nirecommend sila ni Josef.

Hi guys, meron na ba kayong naging problema sa clutch ng Carens nyo?

While I was travelling uphill on 2nd gear, napansin ko naghesitate ng ilang beses ang hatak. Medyo kinabahan ako dahil paovertake ako nung paakyat at me kasalubong pa man din ako. Hindi naman nangamoy ang clutch.

Pero at 50k kms, is it too early to have clutch issues? Hindi naman ako yung tipong "clutch driver". May kailangan na bang ireplace na part nung clutch or kailangan lang ng adjustment?

Anyway, ipapa check ko na lang ulit ito pag me time this long break. But initially, I need some input guys for peace of mind. TIA.

Sir, sa karanasan ko, ang hesitation, sa makina, di po sa clutch. Nakaaircon ba kayo nung paahon? Nangyari sa akin yan hesitation pero kapag naka-off ang A/C. Dinala ko sa Kia at after some extensive checking, (mga 3 weeks total) may pinalitan silang sensorat may pinalitan na engine settings. Nawala yung problema at ok pa hanggang ngayon.

location po ng egr e nasa likod ng engine natin dun nakakabit yun solenoid valve. kaya lang mejo marami kang tatanggalin na gamit like yun aircleaner and mga hose doon. tapos yun intake manifold kailangan mo din tanggalin kasi connected din ito sa egr. lilinisin lang naman e. ang ang ginamit ko e is plain gasoline lang lusaw agad yun mga carbon.

Mas safe po talaga na kunan mo ung mga parts at ang layout para mabalikan pag assembly na. Lalo na pagfirst time o di pa experienced sa paglinis ng EGR. Ganito kasi ginagawa ko pag disassembly ng electronic appliances. Good luck po.

Sir I have the same issues sa carens ko sa front passenger side. Since I know how to DIY myself. I dismantled the front passenger panel and mahirap talaga siyang tanggalin. Actually hindi naman kailangan palitan ng actuator yun mga unit natin e. The actuator sa tingin ko works fine kaya lang hindi nagloloose yun sa lock ng door. What I did is spray some wd40 sa area na yun and now ayus na yun door ko having no problems at all. mapapansin mo lang na pag hindi mo maopen paluin mo yun door plastic moulding malapit sa area ng kinakapitan nung lock and magloloose na yun. sa tingin ko nawalan lang talaga ng grease kaya hindi bumibitaw. hope this could help.

Sir, baka mailarawan ninyo paano pagtanggal sa front door panels kasi may dent ung passenger door ko. kailangan makita nung talyer yung loob. Saan po magsisimula? Paano po tanggalin ung inner door handle assembly? Ilang mga screws at pagkatapos, clip fasteners na lang ba? Sana po matulungan ninyo ako at lahat ng may similar problem. Thank you.

Merong akong naririning na parang grinding or vibrating sound sa may engine ng carens ko, yung sound came from the left side corner ng engine, usually ay maririnig mo ito in the morning and nawawala sya pag around noontime na if the weather is a little hotter, my egr has just been cleaned last month and the casa cant locate kung saan nanggagaling ang grinding sound of vibrating sound, ok naman ang hatak ng carens and no sign of black smoke, has anyone experience this????

Sir, left side po ba pag binuksan mo yung hood o left side from the drivers seat? Pag bukas yung hood, baka po yung idler assembly. Nakarinig rin ako ng grinding noise na mawawala after nakatakbo na for sometime yung makina. Nawala nang pinalitan yung idler bearing assembly.

Ilang beses na rin nangyari sa amin sa daan yan... one time nangyari sa kapatid ko sa may Eastwood. Tumawag na kami ng mekaniko pero pag dating ng mekaniko nag-start na ulit yung sasakyan... then it happened to me also twice in Manila, papa-hila ko na sana pero while waiting for the tow truck nag-start na ulit yung Carens. Subsequent incidents, we just wait it out na lang... ma-hassle lang talaga... this week so far wala pang toyo yung Carens namin.

Gud day Sir, Sa tingin ko po, electrical o electronic connection ang problem. Kung maayos ang baterya at starter, yung circuit para mapaikot yung starter ang may problema. Minsan nangyari yan sa previous car ko. May maluwag na contact sa ignition mismo kaya ng malinis at mahigpitan yung contacts, nawala ang problema.
