yup for checking lang yan.. kung gagamit kayo ng c-clamp to reset the calipers.. pwede hindi nyo na i-bleed yung system kasi babalik lang sa reservoir yung fluid at kung puno yun eh aapaw yung brake fluid... pero mas okay kung i-bleed nyo yung caliper after the replacement of brake pads..

tama si yapoy. kung magpapalit ka pads, you need to push back the piston into the calipers so you can slide the caliper assembly back into position. otherwise, tatama lang yung piston sa pads. like yapoy said, you can expect the brake fluid to go back to it's original (full) level after doing this although the usual practice is to best replace all the fluids with new ones. therefore, you'll need to bleed the system. unless, you know what you're doing, this is best left done by the experts. preno ito. would you like to stake the safety of your love ones on it?

Okay naman sir. Wla nmang scraping. Pero pansin mo tlaga changes kasi mas mabigat na shoes. Yeah 5 studs. 5x114. Tpos magkaiba offset sa front and rear rims. Positive ang front tpos negative or zero yata sa back. Im not really sure if im using the correct term but based on what i see, meron difference ang front and back rims.

sir yummy, in my case, the sound became very noticeable only after around seven months. To add to my concern, at the same time that it became obvious the engine started to get stuck at 3,000 RPM.

Kia Pasig also is blaming our car's problems on the turbo timer, but doesn't it only effect the ignition... They've fixed the whistling sound but it quickly came back again and have never been able to fix the 3,000 RPM problem. Our supposed turbo replacement is also without proof,(receipt, replaced turbo, etc.) so now I'm having some doubts about that. Anyone suggest a better Kia service outlet?

hmm... 98% stock parin ride ko..

nga pala, ask ko lang if may nakakaalam why kulay pula ang line for 50kph? e pinakamatipid na cruising speed ng carens ay at around 70-75kph, wherein 4th gear and at 1250-1500rpm ng engine.

Sir, parang it has something to do with the speed limit sa Korea na 50kph.

baka nga.. ilang ulit ko na nakalkal ang owners manual, both volumes, ha.... wala ako nakitang sagot.

anyway, eto pa, ask ko lang lalo na ung may old models EX... may speed sensing door locks ba kayo?, how about that 120kph light and chime?

is it ok na ilipat ko ung alarm LED to a more visible place like ung dome-like thingy sa gitna ng dash (where the light and temperature sensor should be) and ok lang ba ilipat na instead na park/clearance lights to hazard-light ang iilaw kapag mag-arm/disarm ng alarm? magkakaroon ba ako ng warranty claim issues?

    sana may makasagot din nito:

i plan to change my tires to 17 inches rim.. sabi nga 225-235 bibigat ang manibela, and the manual states that when using 225/50r17 papalit ng steering box dapat... so..

    sa front 215/50 or 55 r17 rear- 225/50r17

standard 205's mahina grip sa corners,e..

nga pala, i plan to complete the UR set for carens (tower bar, braces, bigger sway bars) di kaya magiging stiff masyado ang ride?

and has anyone lifted their carens? 1-2 inches lang.. masyado scrape-happy ride natin,e...

body kits--sino nakapagpagawa, at saan? magkano?

is Kia selling the Gas Carens again? I was at KIA Pasig today, my mom asked about the seat cover of the carens she saw in the showroom. Apparently it was the TOTL gas carens, it even had the old roof rails.

also, it seems that my newly replaced turbo is busted.. hmm.. I already installed a turbo timer to ensure that the turbo is always cooled-down. what other measures could I take to protect the turbo?

Kia North EDSA's diagnosis was turbo but they said they didn't wanna touch my unit, so I brought it back to Kia Pasig. Their diagnosis is aircon pulley bearing naman.. hmm.. Has anyone experienced problems with that?
