While on my way to Baguio last nigh (7 pm) along McArthur Hway in Moncada Tarlac, a Honda Sir was very eager to overtake me. Mabagal din kasi yung nasa harap ko at ang dami naming sinusundan na trucks. So, sa inis nya siguro, nag overtake siya sa shoulder (right), humarrurut ng todo, and that's when he hit a bystander about to cross the street. I don't know about the condition of the boy but he was hit hard and fell down a few meters away. Buti na lang di ko siya nasagasaan pa. Buti rin at di tinakbuhan ng SIR driver.

Dumaan ako sa SCtex (in visiting Clark and Subic) and I still noticed the sluggish performance. I think it is really time to have the EGR cleaned.

Doon sa mga me Carens na may problems sa Sluggish, sure po ako na EGR at turbo may papalitan sila alin man dito, after that back to normal as 80% brand new na lang. It cost me less that 5K for that replacement at labor sa KIA Pasig.

So sir ibig sabihin me tama yung EGR or turbo? May option ba na pwedeng ipalinis ang EGR?

*Hanren: Malayo na rin pala ang tinakbo ng Carens nyo sir. Keep us updated kung malunasan na yang sluggish performance by cleaning the EGR or perhaps KIA may have other solutions.

Looking forward to get a slightly used '10 carens matic. What do u guys suggest i would watch out for? Scratching out carens with more than 10k on the odo... Thanks guys

Sad to say that I doubt you can find a seller of a Carens with low mileage (1 year old ?) unless the seller is immigrating or the vehicle was involve in an accident.

bank repossessed already saw 2 '10 models and 4 '09 models listed on their website.... but only 2 have 10k kms or below mileages

i-phase out na ata nila ang carens. mura na kasi. P899k. baka kailangan ng hyundai mga diesel engines or may iintroduce sila na bagong model. i30 siguro.

hi guys, yung turbo namin di kaya ayusin so kailangan palitan. yung Kia Pasig sabi nung una aayusin, pero nakaka 2 months na halos wala parin ginagawa. 2 times na nga hiningi ang papers namin eh. San kaya okay magpa claim?

And btw, 20000+ na ung mileage ng carens namin pero di pa nakaka pa 20k PMS. Makaka void ba ito ng warranty? Thanks.

Guys ang KIA Carens EX ko 49K ang mileage parang malakas na sa diesel, nakaka 7km/ltr na lang city driving. ano kaya magandang gawin dito. any suggestion. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys. Just bought a 2011 Kia Carens LX AT from KIA Sto. Tomas. They only sell it now at 949K so i thought is was a bang for the
buck deal considering I was getting a vehicle running on Diesel and capable of ferrying 7-8 persons. Just want to ask where in Banaweis a good place to buy parts for our Carens. Likewise, I was thinking of getting mag wheels and want to ask the offset if I will be
retaining the 15 inch tires. Also, where can I have foglamps installed since they sell it at 10k sa casa. I asked Multimotors and they
sell it at around 1,800 but dont have it on stock. Hope you guys can help this new Carens owner. Thank you very much in advance

sir drkiko. for accessories you can try goldrich sa banawe. dito ako bumili and install ng rear spoiler baka may fog light sila. for mags aand tires pwede kahit 17" . may carens is fitted with 17" and 225/50 tires

congrats bro.. buti na lang at binaba na nila ang presyo nyan.. maganda talaga yan carens lalo ang nag engine napakabilis..

minsan sa slex may sinabayan ako ng lancer itlog na may maingay na tambutso (sa tingin ko may engine mod yun) hindi umubra sa torque at speed ng carens.. pag bitaw ko sa 6th gear tapos ang karera...
