Finally, will get my Dmax 4x4 LS AT this friday, first time to own isuzu brand 50k ang cash discount with free LTO 3 yrs, 1 year comprehensive insurance, Tint, matting, bed liner. bank financing, 3 weeks din ako naghintay ng unit. Na test drive ko unit bago ako kumuha di naman masyado maingay yung engine kumpara sa ibang brand at saka sarap gamitin nung manual mode lakas ng hatak
Drove to Baguio with my all new D-Max. I got to take it up to speed up to 160+Kms/h pero sandali lang. Babad ako sa expressways ng 95-120kms/h on cruising mode.
May mga humahataw din na mga pickups at SUVSs of this class sa expressway. I tried to catch up with one (Strada) and nakakahabol naman ako. I don't plan to take it to Top Speed as of yet. I was riding with my Family and I don't want to endanger them, sinubukan ko lang humataw to get a feel of the power of the engine. And I do my speeding on the race track with my Sportsbike very much much faster.
Na try ko rin ang offraod capabilities ng D-max sa Strawberry Farm sa Baguio.. the vehicle feels solid on unpaved/uneven road. I love it.
With all combined going back and forth to Baguio + city driving at Baguio and Manila.. stop and go etc.., I got an average fuel consumption of 13kms+/liter.. not bad.. no bullshit. Just normal driving.
naka sched na for 15k maintenance na si dmax. ang kaso abutin daw ng 8k ulit pa casa..ganon ba talaga ka mahal?
*nabig8 close to 8k nga. Kasi same lng sa 5k pms pero this time meron na bayad ng labor mga 2k++. Ito na sa rate sheet LS 4x2 AT ng isuzu iloilo.
* sir piloski congrats sa new ride mo. Have an AT din pero 4x2 LS lng. Para sa akin ok ito DMax, relaxed ka sa long hrs drive, at meron power when you need it. Lastly matipid nag avg ako ng 14kpl hiway and 12kpl sa mixed, location ko lasi sa province.
* jblue no unit mo MT o AT? Kasi sa akin AT pag nasa 140kph na medyo gapang na pa accelerate to 160kph, maski i manual mode ko pa.
Last time meron din bago ranger, wala pa rin plaka, nag ka hubulan kami mga takbo sa 120kph to 130kph. Nga dumating sa mga 150kph bumitaw na si ranger, pero meron din pala navara bumubuntot sa amin. Inovertakan ako sa 150kph. Puno sakay ko kaya hindi ko na rin lng hinabol. Malamang mag konti lng sakay nun at MT yun humarurot pa e, dark tint din kaya di ko makita sakay nya. At kasma ko si mrs, umangal na rin e.

*tisoy555: 2.5 ba ung sayo, sir? Probably that is the reason kasi sa 3.0, 170 to 175 siya gagapang and then the speed limiter will interfere. Pero un ung sa engine ng 3.0L Global Dmax.
As to the Navara overtaking you, I am not surprised. Sprinter yan so mabilis siya sa highway and from owners of Navara, some said that they reached speeds up to 190 and even 200 kph especially for the 4x4.
*bugoys: When I got home last, I tried checking my FC reading for no reason at all, just because. Here is what I saw. From 10 kms/liter, it became 10.3 kms/liter. Wala naman akong ginawa. Same driving habits, same route. Kaya wag kang mawalan ng pag asa, sir, tataas din ang onboard FC reading mo.hehe Pag nagpa gas up ako, I am gonna do a full tank method and baka tumaas din ang FC reading.

Sir rna800 LS 3.0 AT 4x2 unit ko. Mga 3 mos old na. 6k kms sa odo. Well break in namn siguro ito, hindi ko rin namn masyado binebaby sa pag hinahataw.
Subukan ko uli ihataw sa 160kph kung palo pa ng 170kph nag wala iba sakay.
May sakay kong dalawang adults and 2 children. Feeling ko umaakyan pa rin nung 160+.. pero yun ng hindi ko na tinuloy. As long as aabot ito ng 175+kms/h ok lang.. It can do what a modern pickup should at higit sa lahat hindi mo kailangang mag alala na baka masira yung Turbo or kung may nasira man hindi ka mag aalala ka sa support and parts. It's really a joke pag compare mo ang battle for speed sa mga pickups once naka gamit ka talaga ng REAL speeding machine. So I don't mind no you should.

And besides mitsa lang ng buhay yan and it's childish nonesense. Dami kong nakikita tumataob ng mg SUVs and Big Pickups. Napaka daling tumaob ng mga ganitong klaseng sasakyan because it is not for speeding.

Yung akin noon, nasa early stage niya noong napaabot ko sa 175. Hindi ko na matandaan pero pagkatapos lang ata ng 1k km checkup. Kahit nga nung break in period pa lang niya, pinaabot ko na ng 140 kph. Actually napaabot ko recently kaso medyo ingat na ako ngayon kasi mas strict na sila sa overspeeding kaya most of the time, within 120 kph lang ako. Wala akong balak magsayang ng oras sa LTO and magbayad ng 1k+ for overspeeding.hehe
I'm so happy na happy kayo sa old and all new dmax ninyo. Albeit I felt otherwise sa all new. Siguro i'll test drive it again, to dispel any doubts on its capabilities specially on hauling, loading heavy stuff.

*sir rna800: tried to top speed knina pero medyo kinapos ng road. Nag 160kph 5th gear (manual mode)rpm around 3k. Sagad ng 4th gear mga 130kph at yun sa 4k rpm. Kaya siguro 175kph sa 3.5k rpm kaso babad sa flooring at pitikpitk ng accelerator, AT kasi unit ko. Bumaba tuloy sa 11.1 kpl reading sa MID. Hehehe
I have 2015 Dmax LS 4x4 AT after makuha ko sa casa test drive ko agad 200km of highway and steep terrain with my wife. I test the 0-100km/h time so far I got about 12.9 seconds (wife ko yung nag log ng time) from stanstill flooring the gas to the floor in flat highway surfaces, my ODO reading is 340 Km and average fuel consumption reading at MID of 10.2 km/l. We go directly to our farm in Batangas with 15 km of 20-30 degrees of steep inclined and uneven terrain I use manual and auto mode of transmission alternately switching only to 4H and Im really satisfied with the performance of dmax akyat lang sya ng akyat. Ang isa pa napansin ko may pagbabago sa tunog ng engine hindi na siya maingay I use petron turbo diesel. Napansin ko lang din medyo sakal yung acceleration nya and I will compare this afterna mafully break in yung engine, but compared to my neigbhor 3.2 wildtralk mas maingay yung engine nya kesa sa Dmax lalo na kapag idle sya at lalo na pag umarangkada na sya. IM really a satisfied owner of this Truck
Ask ko lng kung sino nakaka experience ng hindi ma dali isara ang pinto ng dmax. Mag 3 months na unit ko. Hirap pa rin i sara. Dapat malakas o hawak hangang pag sara. Kadalasannsa mga pasahero ko doble tuloy mag sara ng pinto.
Tapos yung AC compressor pag i on ko rinig mo yung pag engadge ng ac clutch nya. Normalnba sa dmax ito.
So far ito lng mga problema ko sa dmax.
Ba't kaya ganun? Sinasabi sa mga review na maingay daw ang D-Max.. eh mas maingay pa nga yung Hilux ng kapit bahay namin pag idle, bago ko pinili ang D-Max over a Hilux I know the fact from reviews na mas maingay ang D-Max pero to my surprise parang mas maingay pa yata ang Hilux 3.0 nung sa actual na .. or siguro yung VGS version sa ibang bansa yung mas maingay?

Ganyan din sa amin (old dmax), kahit nung nag visit ako sa casa, yun yung isa sa mga pinansin ko, I said to myself, "aba! ganon pa din pag sara ah". Hassle lang pag kunyari magbaba ka ng passenger na stop and go, minsan hahabulin pa dahil alam nila hinde maayos pagkakasara, also sa guards on duty sa client namin, they close them doors twice.

Walang naka pick up sa village namin (meron xwind at adventure, no contest na yun), even sa mga relatives namin. We're still looking at the dmax and hilux din. But i think dmax din ulit ang bagsak namin. Heheheh.

Released na din pala yung all new Nissan Navara. Whew! Pogi! Kaso coil spring suspension na, entry level model are the only ones fitted with leaf spring lang daw as per tgp. Hinde "ata" workhorse-able ang mga coil spring suspension, compared to the leaf spring. Sana ilabas na ng Isuzu yung VGS nila. This month na please! Hahahah
