It should be at the Driverside B-Pillar (you'll see when you open the door). But top of mind would be around 32 (front) 34 (rear). You would not want to "overinflat" the tires for the ride would be extremely bumpy.

First, CONGRATULATIONS on your new D-Max.

As to the shifting of gears, yes, as a general practice, one shifts from 1-2-3-4-5 and vice versa. There may be exceptions on downshifting (from 5-4-3-2-1) depending on your speed. Example would be your are running at 100kph (likely at 5th gear) then you had to make a drastic slowdown to let's say 60kph, you may shift directly from 5th to 3rd. Again, this depends on the speed and torque.

As to the "feeling" of speed, I would assume your previous vehicle is a passenger car. Aerodynamics of cars are generally better than CV such as pick ups. These affect the "speed feel" you experience. Wind drag contribute to this too.

As to the "proper" RPM when changing gears, similar to my 1st reply, it would depend on the speed and torque. As a general rule, the higher the speed, the less RPM is required to change gears.

Hope this helps in some way.

maraming salamat sir benz.. nag worry lang kasi ako sa sinabi nung barkada ko na pag hindi daw nasunod ung proper way of shifting gears eh madali daw bibigay ung makina.. ang alam ko kc as long na hindi pwersado at alaga ung makina eh mas longer ung life span ng dmax naten...

ask lang ako mga ka d-max san po ba sa mla. pwd makabili ng mga accesories ng dmax naten? like ung body kits at honeycomb grille... any shop na marerecomend nyo penge narin po ng contact no. nung shop or tao... gusto ko kc madagdagan ung moods nya except sa rollbar at rollerlid... nag hanap naku sa banawe sa autospecs wala sila grille san kaya may makukunan neto?

From experience, 180kph. But I know this can still be pushed upto 200kph but would not be considered "safe".

i believe 4x2 and 4x4 has the same top speed coz they have the same 4jj1 3.0 engine as long as you disengage the 4 wheel drive.

With regards to the radiator grille, i got a new honeycomb chrome coated one that i bought from CFG here in Cebu. it costs me 5,500 and i like the looks now on my dmax. In Isuzu, they priced it * 8,500.

A-Toy would be your best bet or StarBright (direct competition of A-Toy).

The 4x2 would have a slight advantage in terms of speed (particularly in acceleration) because it's expected to be "lighter" than a 4x4 (due to the added weight of the 4x4 drivetrain)

based from my experience din, i did 180kph few times in slex kaso ako na umayaw dahil nakakatakot na ung drag ng hangin e. but it can go further for 200kph.humihingi pa ung makina kahit 180 na e. kayang kaya nya tumakbo ng ganun speed. but i think d na ganun advisable na tumakbo ng ganun ung 4x4 dahil ma-shorten ung life ng gears ng sa 4wheel drive mo kasi masyadong magiinit ung mga un that can cause to wear/tear easily. d naman kasi design un for that speed. and isa pa e mabigat xa dahil sa 4x4 components.

ako naman im looking for the grill na ung labas ng unang design ng boondock. ung parang may flare ung logo ng isuzu. meron sa casa but it cost around 17k ata. masyado mahal kaya d ko mabili. anyone who knows where i can buy that kahit 2nd hand siguro nun? d ko xure kung meron sa banawe nun e. TIA!

ang sabi sakin ng carryboy e mas maganda na nga daw ung motorized (roller lid) kesa dun sa manual. kasi pag nasira daw ung mechanism nung manual e sisrain daw ung buong lock nung roll up unlike nung sa motorized na pwde gamitan ng susi at mabubuksan pdin ung door sa likod. at isa pa e d mappwersa buksan ung motorized dahil sa motor nya, un ung nagsisilbing lock nung mechanism. un nga lang talaga e mahal ung motorized. almost same lang nman siya ng looks but wala siya nung makapal na something dun sa may bandang rear window. flat na talaga un from tail end. saka with remote na ung motorized and may switch na din sa loob ng car un to open and close ung roller lid.
