Sir ano daw ang dahilan bakit hindi nila ilalabas ang Super Commonrail dito sa Pilipinas? Sayang naman kung ganun.. Inaantay ko pa naman to.. Balak ko kasi sana eh papalitan ko alterra ko ng newer model na alterra din with VGS na sana.. Well, I guess in time kapag hindi talaga to dadating, ang susunod kong tsikot eh Santa Fe na siguro.. ^_^

one thing is fuel type.... dapat kc much refined pa yun diesel natin dito para tatagal and aandar ng maayos yun super commonrail engine ng isuzu... autralia is also using the super commonrail engine dahil... napansin ko sa states yun diesel nila is more like a gasoline in texture and feel.. mafeel mo dat its really refined compared dito satin... yun first alterra na luamabas had issues dahil sa fuel natin dito... dats y isuzu changed or altered some componenets to fit our country's climate or setting...

did anyone of you guys nag upgrade na ng turbo nila ng dmax?.. ung 4jj1 engine na? or even nalagay ng unichip or DP chip?.. pati ung air filters kung ano pinalit nyo?..and last kung ok lang ba mgextend ng tail pipe or what is the best na pwede gawin dun,kung meron na din pa ngpastraight pipe sainyo?..how was it? just to have an idea, kasi i want to upgrade mine sa mga parts na un..

Well my Dad will in all likelyhood still buy a D-max sana nga lang VGs na. god forbin na makabili na sya ng I-qtec tapos after a short time bigla ilabas dito satin yung VGS. Sabihin nalang kasi nila sana ng deretsuhan lalabas ba o hinde or at least plano man lang.

isip ko lang, holiday season and people are out to get new things, vehicles included. So take advantage ng isuzu (and others) yan by selling a variant (such as Xmax) until sales slow down uli, then saka ilalabas VGS. Sa tantsa ko earliest, end of 1st quarter pa nila ilabas, sabay ng mga summer promo. ... kaya?

sir yapak not yet. pero last time we went to the dealer ang kukunin ng dad ko yun 4x2 manual LT (basta daw airbags, 4x2 at manual ang need nya) less 20T sa SRP. yung roll top na carryboy sobra na pala mahal nun 37k pataas pero mabait naman yung kausap namin SA sabi nya sa labas nalang kunin yung roll top para mas mura. roll top ng fuego namin noon 17t lang ata and like was posted here before sa thread sinabi nya din categorically na di dadalhin VGS or at least that is what he knows.

THERE ARE 2 PROMOS FOR ISUZU. THE 10 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS Promo is from Dec 9-18, highlighting on free fuel and some cash discount.

There is another but I believe it's not publicized (since I learned of it when I went to 3 ISUZU dealers and the attending SEs mentioned of a "promo" for December). For sure it's not the same 10-day promo since I went to visit December 6 and no free fuel was mentioned. I believe this is where the bulk of the discount is coming from.

Not sure but since it's not advertised, I'd say it's a cash/cash-freebie offer. Personally, I'd say December would be a good time to purchase for every car brand would like to end the year on a high note.

interested for DIY or lower priced alternatives (not greddy or cusco)

May noticeable effects ba? Less usok. better fuel economy from cleaner air filter....

and for reference nasaan (kung meron) ang PCV? at EGR ng 4JH1-TC? cannot locate it myself duon sa online engine drawings ng isuzu parts indonesia.

yup. bago mag masinag coming from robinsons, sta.lucia area, lampas shell at servitek pa.

I'm used to seeing our driver warm up our sedan in the morning. Then he turns it off and inspect the oil level. I was told that it should be done the other way around? Tama ba? Inspect the oil level first before warming up the engine? Both for diesel and gas vehicles?
