    2. Change Brake fluid
    3. Change PS fluid
    4. Change Gear Oil
    5. Change All filters
    6. Repack front wheel bearings
    7. Change oil of course
    8. Change radiator coolant
    9. Tire rotation
    10. Routinary checking of worn out parts

    Sa trusted mechanic ako nagpagawa.

Guess what: Labor is only 900 petot for everything. hehe.
Including the parts, total cost is: PhP7,500.00 (but take note that I bought extra 1 liter of every fluid - oil, brake fluid, atf). I think the cost can be at a minimum of 7k if you're confident of the exact amount you will use next time. The extra fluids can be used next time anyway.

For the ATF, I only did the manual flushing - used up 4 liters. At 40tkms however, I might perform the transtech at Autotechnika.

I'm still under warranty up to March of 2007 but I also have the general knowledge naman when it comes to diesel rigs (of course I asked for second opinions from fellow tsikoteers).

If you are confident with your Rig, then go for the cheaper service. But if you have limited know hows and having second thoughts, stick with the casa nalang (but take note that not all casa service do what they say they do and not all of them do a good clean job).

    HTH
    DJERMS,

How much ung mga nabili mong mga langis? per liter and and ilang qty..

    2Dmax,
Oil I bought from casa is Shel Rimula X (7 liters for dmax AT - but I only used 5.5Liters). I think its around P130.00 per liter. Its almost the same price outside. Basta all orig parts (fliuds and filters) cost me PhP5,700.00.

If I were you, just buy your oil and other fluids outside casa. Ang bilihin mo nalang sa casa are the filters and the washer. Why? because damn casa charged me almost PhP800 for VAT!

    2Dmax,
If you want, I can refer you and accompany you one saturday sa Petron (Marikina) mechanic ko. He has been working on our rigs for the past 5 years now and I can vouch for him in the technical know hows when it comes to repairs and maintenance. Malinis at masinop din siya.

He did my 20tkms pms with no problems and the good thing was I was there supervising his work.

Just tell me if you want his service.

    1. HUB BEARING GREASE REPACK
    2. VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT
    3. BRAKE and CLUTCH fluid change
    4. FUEL FILTER CHANGE

sige samahan mo ko minsan. set natin. how much kaya aabutin ng labor alone nito? anong grasa ginamit mo sa HUB BEARING? dala na lang ako ng ibang materyales. and ung sinasabi mo bang washer is ung sa oil pan? kindly PM me ur CP#.. thanks a lot..

mga friends who are dmax owners, me tanong yung cousin ko, sana matulungan natin siya magdecide. 4x2 LS ang tinitingnan niya sa dealer.

in a nutshell, considering the model age of dmax and the current competition, would you still buy the Dmax if u were to buy a new pickup at this time?

    why and why not?

aminin man natin or hindi, may lalabas at may lalabas pa rin na magandang rides. the competition is always there. it may be the best car that time, but sooner or later laos na naman..

    tnx 2Dmax for comments..

Well as for me, I've been trying to get the mods to make this a sticky na since it practically has the same views/posts of other Threads like "Pick-up lover". I wonder what qualifies a thread to be sticky .

As for the funrun to Bacolod, I was just waiting for some to tap me na, ako go na go na weeks ago pa hehehe. But as I view the great unit of Srbogoy, I now know what has kept him pre-occupied . Bai, you really love your Max there! Love the side skirts!

If your confidante buys the current Dmax, talo siya. I am an owner of Common rail disesel engine SUV and at the same time of a vehicle that is the same breed with the Elf truck. It makes wonders to drive a diesel now (with CRDi) without the truck like ride.
