Ever since I got my unit last year, I have it car washed once a week then engine wash once a month para hindi dumikit ang stubborn dirt. All these at my local car wash shop that has ordinary boy washers.
So far naman, there hasn't been a single incident with regards to external engine or electronic parts damage even though they use high pressure water. I guess it's really true what they say about Isuzu engines...bulletproof!![]()
jason,
yun dmax ko nga ipina engine detail ko kina vince...putsa parang brandnew (that was about a year ago) ... wala naman naging problem after that.
memphis,
update you on the project...plan ko talaga gumawa ng ganun (clading and body mouldings) para sa dmax... kaso it is better that I attend their formal training muna...
anu yung flat-type na rear bumper? got any pictures nito?
sa bumper and nakikita kong maganda ay yung ala-ARB/TJM na metal (aluminum bumper na from australia). Sa Ride meron pero mahal...
ang problem ko na lang dung sa ala-ford-sportrac na bed cover ay yung mga handle and lock mechanism niya (walang ganun sa market at the moment)... pero yun mechanisma and possible design (concept) merun na.
instead of putting a very dark tint sa windshield, I highly recommend a magic neutral tint.. (3M or platinum brand are good options)
sa gabi or takipsilim hampered na ang view with dark tint, pero sa magic neutral para walang tint... and yet you are hardly noticeable from the outside.
wildthing,
ganitong rear bumper sana.. yung pics sa ibaba d masyado makita,,

nope.. dats not true na... no tlike the ones used before during late 90's... nagun matibay na.. iv been using a wiring kit and a 170/130 halogen on our dmax for 2 years na... hinid naman umitim.. now im upgrading to HID's... hehehe.... darating siguro yun by next month...
nope.. HID's are like the flourescent lights in ur house... it odnt use too much energy yet very bright.. halogens are like the ordinary bulbs, it uses alot of energy but mahina ang ilaw and mainit din tlaga..
HID's are cool to the touch kahit matagal na yu naka on... wala kc filament na sunugin niya to make a light... gas kc ang nasa loob nun and parang starter and ballast lang ang nagdala ng power... just like your typical household flourescent lamp...
