Did you do some electrical-related modifications on your vehicle? If yes, check on the load requirement of that mod. If not, it could be bad grounding. You can be sure by bringing your vehicle to a reputable electrical shop i.e. Wizzard. have them check your wiring vis-a-vis alternator charging.

san yung location ng Wizzard sir?

may sakit kasi yung xwind, minsan di nag chacharge ng battery.
one time galing kami nag grocery. i turned it off, then i opened our gate, pag balik ko sa car, ayaw na mag start. minsan pag mornings ganun din. turo sakin nung kakilala kong driver kargahan ko daw muna before turning the engine off. seemed to work. but i dont want to settle for this. hindi naman kasi sya ganun dati.

small audio upgrade has been done
replaced stock speakers sa harap(70wRMS) chaka sub(300wRMS) sa likod running on a v12 amp. very light setup lang. pero this was intalled AFTER the car developed this problem. baka na enhance din ng audio upgrade yung problem.

also one night nag ddrive ako in front of an owner type jeep, napansin ko yung headlight ko nag didim then lalakas pag apak sa gas pedal(yung parang sa mga tricycle). asked my friends on what they think is the problem, sabi alternator daw malamang.

Congrats! The low fuel indicator should light up when fuel hit the reserve level.

[Mods, pakilipat na lang in case meron mas appropriate na thread.]

I do recall a discussion about delays from LTO in issuing/releasing plates for new Isuzu cars. As far as I am concerned, this claim from the dealers is plain excuse. I have to check LTO pasay myself to learn otherwise (300 plates ang available at that time). Obviously, walang follow-ups from the Dealer. Mine is a regular plate (with specified ending for color-coding). Ayun, nakuha ko in a week after kung magalit at makulit ang dealer. Yun lang, kelangang personally lakarin sa LTO office. But If you're like me na ayaw ma-hassle while driving, esp in Makati, it's worth the time.

Sabi nga ng LTO, ginawa pa silang sangkalan ng dealer inefficiencies.

Thanks Sir Benz. . .for 2005 up, please refer to No. 5. . . that can easily be remove becase of the gap between the bumper and the molding. . . however, the molding also bolted with the fender (not shown in the illustration). . . if the molding (filler) will not be removed, the bolts under the headlight (illustration no. 7) will also be hard to remove. . .

pero i think i got an idea, sa ilalim baka pweding dukutin and screws under the headlight. . . then there's no need to remove the molding (filler). . .

    Thanks.

Mga Sirs, tanong ko lang if anyone know of any "loss of power" issue sa 2007 crosswind xuv or crosswinds, in general, with the same engine. There are time na kapag tinapakan ko na yung accelerator, instead na humatak, parang nabibitin yung makina.

    TIA!

What is the mileage of your XUV? When was the last time you had your car changed oil?

Yung plastic chrome parts ng sportivo ko nagstart na magrust. Yung sa taillight saka yung gitna ng mags. Wala pang 1 year a.

Hi Sir Benzmizer! My mileage is now at 60K+ and I just had my PMS. I was thinking if the XUV has a suction control valve (SCV) because the symptom is similar to the SCV issue of Mitsu Strada. Although I have never heard the the XUV had this problem.

    TIA

Hmmm, I'm not tech guy buy a part of me says it has something to do with the fuel system/lines. Yes, it is not a common case among Crosswinds in general. The most I have heard is slow acceleration particularly on AT variants.

Being a non-computer controlled unit, it should be a mechanical case. Have it checked by a competent mechanic/shop.

Start with the simplest, replace the air and fuel filter (OEM for the air) and OEM or Bosch / Vic originals for fuel.

    Guys na naka XUV/Sportivo:
What mileage are you getting on your respective OEM tires? Are the Bridgestones better in mileage than the Michelins?

Nope. Michelins would last more. They seemed not to be rubbers... My '03 XUVi had the OEM Michelins until I sold them 2007.... clocked 100,000kms+ and with still about 65% tire thread left.

Yeah, I strongly agree, mine is already 5 yrs and counting but still the thread left at the rear is 95%, my front still has 80% but was worn unevenly due unbalanced wheel alignment.
