Nakakita nga pala ako ng Sportivo na naka 20" na mags nung Saturday, astig ng itsura!, '07 o '08 yata yun. Nagpapa-service sa Isuzu Alabang.

True. Besides, when you go DUBS, you'd have to have skirts and (a little) dropped. "Street Truck" ika nga.

Then again, it defeats the purpose of getting a sporty Crosswind (XUV/Sportivo) di ba? Current rims with Michelin LTX 235/70R15s are good ebnough for me.

    Hi,

Medyo off topic eto sa mga Rims, I just want to ask regarding ung shaking sa front tires when I break at 80-100kms/hr naexperience ko ito when I'm on my way back to manila, while cruising at NLEX at that speed nung nagbrake ako nararamdaman ko mdyo may shaking sa front tires ko.. I tried it again this time mdyo slower ako wala naman ako naramdaman it seems na nangyayari lang during those speed.

Does anyone know what could be the problem? Is there any loosened bolt or I need to have my brakes adjusted? May relationship di kaya ito with may front left tire having negative camber? di pantay ung kain ng gulong medyo manipis sa inner part. I planning to bring it sa computerized wheel alignment shop, any suggestions po kung san maganda magpatrabaho nito?

    Thanks.

Partner, me thinks it's your ROTOR DISCS. Have them check for uneven wear.

Camber/alignment issues would result to constant "wiggling" of front rims at certain speed... not when braking. As for a possible loose lugnut, that's easy to check. Test tighten all lugs. And a loose lug would possibly create constant wiggling but at any speed.

There are a lot of competent camber/alignment shops. Basta computerized, ok na yun. Bottomline, have your vehicle checked ASAP.

I think you're right Benz, I haven't replaced my front left rotor disc it already has an uneven wear on the inner part and is already due for a replacement according to the mechanic. I hope replacing the Rotor Disc solves the wiggling.. I will have it replace hopefully by end of this month before I travel back to our province.

As for computerized wheel alignment, I think only the front left has a negative camber based on the tire wear which is on the inner part. I'll make sure to check for loose lugs.

    Thanks.

No problem my friend. I am almost 100% sure the wiggling would be eliminated with the replacement of the rotors.

Oh yeah, make sure you do this before embarking in any long travel. Brake system eto... considered as one of the safety items that a vehicle owner should not defer repair and compromise.

As i usually tell myself, mas mura na ang parts and labor kesa sa buhay ko at mga kasakay ko. Makes sense, right?

Sir benzmizer, napansin ko parang may sumisipol sa ilalim ng dashboard ko (right side) twing mag automatic yung ACU ko. pag na reach na kasi nya desired temp nya mag on/off yung thermostat nya, twing lalagatik yung thermostat nya may parang sumisipol. Kahit nung bago pa sya ganun na sya, napansin ko kagad yun. Normal ba yun? another thing, pwede ba malagyan ng HID lamp yung 08 xwind? which one do you recommend, hi beam or sa low beam lang and what brand? and ilang kelvin ba dapat? TIA
