November 21st, 2011 10:17 AM #144Mga sir, bago lang po ako dito. I'm from cebu. We have isuzu hilander 98 model brand new pagkabili ng papa ko. So far wala po talagang problema. Very solid, parang brand new parin ang takbo niya. 160K kms na takbo nya tapos every 5k kms kami nagpapa pms. (change oil, oil & fuel filter). So just 2days ago lang pina pms namin sa isuzu dito my promo kasi sila 1,200 all in na sa change oil.
1. Does the Isuzu Econo Parts contributed to this incident? (Isuzu Econo Oil Filter & Fuel Filter)
3. Safe po ba siya gamitin after that incident?

So sir, should I replace my fuel filter?.. Sa ngayon, under observation ko pa xa, so far di naman tumirik ulit.

Hello Kulot,
BTW, what was the technical info of Isuzu when they mentioned "econo products"? Does it means lesser costs of lubricant used, oil filter and fuel filters but the items " will serve the purpose"?With the incident you experienced, so far wala akong inputs dahil may holdpoints yan bago unit release, means everything is clear. But isa lang ma-suggets ko...always go for ORIG Isuzu parts. Cheaper ones , we are not sure of the material components utilized....lalo na yang Fuel filter/ Oil Filter.
Salamat kaayu Bay.

November 29th, 2011 05:25 PM #150Isuzu ECONOPARTS are parts originating and supplied by third party manufacturers which are certified by Isuzu. The only difference is that ECONOPARTS are certified by Isuzu, so you can have the assurance from Isuzu na safe sya gamitin sa vehicle mo..
