I like this color as well...but..naka orange Sportage na ako. hehehhehe.

I got to check out my neighbors HARI Santa Fe.

something KDM doesnt have that HARI has...the headlamp washer.

regarding naman yung wala sa HARI unit na meron sa grey imports.
    1. no cooling / heated front seats
    2. option for better leather (maroon/brown leather)
    3. no park assist..they only have rear sensors
    4. no SPAS
    5. no rear louver
    6. smaller lcd
    7. i didnt get to notice if meron two memory seats.
    8. HARI units has rear window suncreen (a surprise)

No offense to those who bought grey imports, but as I was checking them out at Pitstop, I was turned off by the fact that the LCD is in Korean...the odometer, temp, etc. Also you can't use the GPS since it is Korean and the menu also in Korean. True that the features are better than HARI units but I'm not used to cars with foreign languages..... For 2.2M, I would buy the HARI units instead, but hey, that's just me.

you have a point..i too was also turned off by it...but prior to purchasing it..i really gave it a lot of thought...

    1. if you know the menu structure of the odometer display / speed display, it wouldn't matter..... all english naman except for the fuel info and some settings.. but the rest are in english.

regarding the middle display area... english naman..and just like any lcd radio/dvd.. you can change the language settings...so no issue on that.

gps..that is still an issue...so far...i haven't tried to insert sd of garmin...so i am not sure if it will work or not....

im still waiting for the english manual

this is also my 1st vehicle i bought from a grey importer....dami ko consider before buying the unit. the cost of the unit vs the features....doon nanalo...but like ive mentioned before..madami features not needed in the Philippine market....but its nice to have...

ang favorite ko is the cooling front seats...it really helps when its hot outside.....

Sorry for the blurry pics...but for those who want to see the lcd of Grey market units of Santa Fe.

Fuel information: 1st number indicates how many km left before empty.. next number is average fuel consumption in km/liter

2nd pic: Lane Departure Warning System

3rd pic: display info like connected to bluetooth

    4th pic: any other info

5th pic: korea...i have no idea what it is

6th pic: korea language...no idea..but it has something to do with settings or info.

Doc bjreyesmd, you can set the language of the HU to English. Bro av8or5 and T|tan has their HU's language set to English.

Regarding the korean MID, well it's common sense that if you see xxx km that decreases, that's the distance to empty; xx.x km/l that constantly changes every time you step on the accelerator pedal that's the instanteneous fuel consumption; xx.x km/l that changes longer than the instantaneous FC, that's the average FC; xxx.x km that increases is the trip meter.

GPS, it will only work here if the NTC decides to also adopt DMB as one of the formats of digital broadcasting aside from the Japanese ISDB-T format.

I think I posted this with my earlier post, the reason I decided to get the PHDM vesion is because of the INFO Language.. Hindi ako comfortable with the korean language.... BTW, I am not sure if pareho sa KDM (pero dapat), the first thing that will pop to the screen is SYSTEM CHECK, so I guess if something pops up like an error, make sure na mapansin mo.. Baka kasi since its a foreign language hindi mo ma agad mapansin..

The HU of the KDM is original, since may blue link function..

Nevertheless, kahit KDM or PHDM, pareho naman sila ok.. Pinaka mura is the 4x2 SF ng HARI... Kung sa 4x4 better get gray mas sulit...

BTW, I had my 1K PMS sa HQA, Full synthetic ang ginamit.. nakaalmost 7K ako.. Kung ako magdalala ng oil at filter, baka 4K lang yan.. Magkano sa Pitstop or sa HANCARS?

I totally agree with you...sabi nga nila..whatever rocks your boat..doon ka... either KDM or PHDM

regarding PMS...wala pa ako experience with PMS sa Santa Fe..hindi pa umaabot ng 1,000km..ill post once ive had the PMS. I think P7K is good enough for a SUV diesel PMS for 1st.... Chevrolet Cruze nga..mas mahal pa.. eh 4 cylinder engine lang yun, but on FS oil.

When you buy in Pitstop, they'll give you the translation of the information in the mid.
Don't worry to much about it.
