Wow the LWB is way out of the budget.

Anyway, can you tell me kung mas malaki or mas maliit yung interior space of the new SF3 sport compared to:

    1) Old Santa Fe (2012 and below)
    2) CRV
    3) Montero
    4) Rav4
    5) Chevy Trailblazer
    6) Ford Escape

    Salamat

From what I know, the SF3 is slightly larger in terms of interior space than the previous model. It is wider than the montero, so 2nd row is more comfortable, however, it is shorter so the montero has better legroom and ceiling space on the 3rd row. The interior is larger than the CRV and RAV4 and Escape, but smaller than the TBZ.

My SF3 is due for its first PMS. I called Hyundai Quezon Avenue earlier regarding this, and they quoted the cost around 6.5k for 7 liters fully synthetic oil and filters and would take about 2 hours depending on the queue. Does the cost on par with what everyone encountered? Sorry for the noob question, this is my first experience with Hyundai. Thanks.
Yup, but may discount pa yan so mga 5k ang babayaran mo.

The interior space of the Sta Fe is definitely smaller than the Chevrolet Trailblazer. The wheelbase of the LWB Sta Fe is 2800 mm as shown which is 45 mm shorter than that of the Trailblazer. The SF3 width is narrower by 17 mm, although its length is greater by 37mm. The internal height is lower.

Test drove a SF and Tucson CRDi a while ago at Hyundai Quezon Avenue. SF's a better option, lighter steering wheel effort than the Tucson especially sa Comfort Mode. And the ride is also better than the Tucson. I also noticed that NVH levels of the SF are better than the Tucson. So SF3 is my choice for my mom's new car. Going back this Holy Wednesday to test drive both Hyundai SUVs again, this time with the parents. Looks like we have to add another 300k pesos so that mababa lang monthly amortization namin.

*SF3 owners, what is the recommended engine oil viscosity and API/ACEA classification?

*numbah5. If you're getting the PHDM, no choice ka but to use the HGMO full synthetic.. Ang rating ata nya is CF... Tapos ang ACEA is B4..

Kinaibigan ko dati pa yung 2 service advisor ng HQA (Luigi and Aien) pati Service Manager nila (Ricky). Pinapayagan akong magdala ng own oil for my dad's Sonata with 200+ pesos corkage fee. Sa SF3 kaya anong recommended API/ACEA rating na nakalagay sa manual? Pati viscosity?

wait pre... im asking for a comparison between the 2013 Sport Santa Fe (SWB) as against the ff:

    1) Old Santa Fe (2012 and below)
    2) CRV
    3) Montero
    4) Rav4
    5) Chevy Trailblazer
    6) Ford Escape

Mas malaki pa din ba interior ng 2013 SWB Santa Fe kaysa sa CRV/Montero/RAV4/Escape and old santa fe?

The HGMO full synthetic is ACEA B4, kaso ang problema nya is CF siya and not CI4 which is more suitable for Crdi engine.

*bjreyesmd.. I think I saw your car last week.. papasok ng hospital..

Oh I thought you were referring to the LWB SF3. My bad. I was just amazed because you said that the new SF3 SWB's interior is larger than Escape and CRV kasi a some of my friends said na halatang mas malaki ang escape and CRV by looking at it from the outside. (note: we really haven't actually seen the interior, puros exterior lang sa mga parking lot sa malls, which is why I want to ask someone who has really seen the interior).

Does everyone here agree that the interior of the SF3 SWB is larger than the Escape/CRV? If so then this is good news =)

bjreyes - maraming salamat ulit sa reply sir

The Santa Fe isnt actually small, it just looks small based on the design. In fact exteriorly, it has the same dimensions as the previous model. And I think the older gen SF is bigger than the CRV and Escape. Check the dimensions, mas malapad ang SF3.

BTW, the 2nd row slides forward or backward for extra legroom.

Maybe the reason why you said it is smaller exteriorly is because the escape is taller and the CRV is almost the same height. Escape is 1770mm, CRV 1655mm while the SF3 is 1690mm. If you look at the width, SF3 1880mm Escape 1845mm CRV 1820mm, and the length SF3 4690mm Escape 4480mm CRV 4530mm, obviously, the SF3 is larger.

I have decided to get SF3 in favor of Trailblazer, even if may stock na mabigay Chevy skin.

Anyway, to those who get the local units, which after market HU with camera do you suggest, and cost?

Or shall I just consider HARI oem unit.

First of all, congratulations! If the dealership gives you a good deal on the OEM HU, then go for it.
