To the SF owners, how is the airconditioning? My unit does not seem to cool as much as our other cars, especially when driving at slower speeds like 40 kph and below. I have tried using both manual and auto modes, with different fan speeds and temperatures. Whatever the case, it serms the compressor doesn't kick in until i reach a certain engine speed. I am thinking of having my dealer check the aircon for possible issues.

no problem with my AC.. mine is set at 23 auto..mabilis mag cool

For the KDM unit no problem as well. We set at 22, 1 bar. Initially we set to auto but it cools fast the the fan is relatively strong. So once the cabin is cool we go manual and set 1 bar speed or 1 notch to the dial.

Galing ka ba sa 2nd gen, SF.. Feeling ko mas malakas aircon ng 2ND gen, dahil mas manual ang 2nd gen, unlike sa 3rd gen, na auto climate.. Try mo gawin LO yung temp, see what is the effect.

No problem with my aircon....same as av8or5, I usually set it at 23 deg. C........d kaya naka open yung air vents ng ac mo instead of recirculating air inside you are taking in air from outside.

Sa experience ko sa manual and auto climate ng korean cars, mas malakas yun blower ng naka-auto climate.

Na experience ko na sa Sportage (manual climate) yung sa aircon na ayaw lumamig, kelangan humataw ng konti para lumamig ulit. Ginawa ko nung PMS pina-reset ko sa ECU yung aircon. Di na naulit. Pero medyo mahina talaga ang blower. Siguro papalitan ko na rin ang tint.

SG: nope...standard 3m medium lahat..even windshield..im okay with that kasi..yan din naman lahat ng cars ko.. 3m medium... Ken: PM mo cell mo..i have a question for you

I've tried LO setting, up to 23 degrees, auto, manual na 1 bar up to 4 or 5 bars. Galing naman sa garage yung car at hindi naka bilad sa araw. Dark din ang tint ko all around, except for the windshield. And naka close rin yung vent.

Ang napansin ko kanina, parang di nag o-on yung compressor pag naka idle yung engine. Mag on lang siya pag umaandar na yung sasakyan. I will talk to my service advisor tomorrow. Hopefully an ECU reset will do the trick.

I may have found the problem but I need to observe some more. Baka kasi naka eco mode ako kahapon kaya nag off yung compressor sa idle. I tried turning eco mode off kanina, mas malamig, but then again, mas tuloy tuloy ang drive ko kanina so I can't say for sure yet.

May effect talaga yung Eco mode sa aircon. Nasa manual nakalagay.

i have active eco button on my sorento.. turned it on till i consumed my entire P 500 diesel load.. i didn't notice any significant change in performance, aircon was functioning well.

I am using ECO mode malakas naman aircon, we have been using Eco mode since day 2. I also travelled to Baguio and back in ECO mode, never took it off. I do smell something sa Aircon after we arrived in manila the next day, but the smell dissolves after a few seconds of turning it on. Parang burnt diesel na basa. This maybe recirculating the air inside the cabin I will probably aerate the interior and check my Aircon cabin filter tomorrow morning. Di naman siya mabaho or anything offensive.
