Do post pics if nakabit na. Mas maganda yung assembled na, you just have to replace the whole fog lamp assembly. Yung orig na fog lamp at least intact pa and pwede itago.

We have the same thought. That is why I ordered the assembly instead of the LED only. Will posy pics when installed.

"Fluidic design : Beyond its standout looks, the Southern California–based design gives the Santa Fe a 0.34 coefficient of drag, that helps it cut through the wind better than a Range Rover Evoque."

Both exled and korean auto imports I think is in the USA. To get their products, you have to order online and it will be shipped here sa Phils.

EXLED shop is in Korea. But will ship to any country. They have good customer service and can speak good English, not fluent though.

Hello there. This thread is quite long already but I have serious plans of buying the SF 3rd Gen. I have some questions though, and I hope those who bought theirs already can help me pick the option. First, the variants in the gray market (i.e., Pitstop) has a 2.0 engine, while in HARI they have the 2.2. Is it true that the engines in HARI are still the "old" engines? Is there a marked difference between the 2.0 and 2.2 for the SF 3rd Gen? Second, is the price difference between the 4WD, and the 2WD negligible? Would you recommend that, even if my route is substantially city-driving, I still get the 4WD because it has all the bells and whistles? I read that the new SF owners are very happy with their purchase, and it so happens that I have a budget for this particular vehicle. Thanks.

Hi, Doc. Still choosing the options being offered by Pitstop. However, and this I don't understand, the latest unit they have is a 2.2L, 4x4, that is supposedly one grade below the "top-of-the-line". They call it "premium". But the odometer is already 30k. I saw scratches at the driver seat where the power controls for seat adjustment are located (but the sales guy said it can be buffed). The left rear tire has a pebble stuck in one of its threads. Obviously, the car's been used, but they said its new and the unit had to be driven from whatever port it arrived to the showroom. So, cars in Pitstop are not delivered in a flatbed pala. Perhaps, Titan, who may have purchased his SF from Pitstop (unless I am wrong) can shed light. Thing is, the KDM units have better amenities than the PHMs, so I was actually setting my sights at Pitstop, pero kapag ganiyan naman, nakakaduda.

I want to buy a new Santa Fe, but some people are saying the suspension of the latest Santa Fe is still bad, like a Fortuner.

Maybe this is relevant, comparing the suspension of the Camry versus the Sonata, the Camry absorbs potholes and humps while the Sonata is very bumpy.

Hyundai wins Super Bowl auto ad warsBy Peter Valdes-Dapena *PeterDrives February 4, 2013: 1:14 AM ET

While some automakers gambled on long, emotional or quirky Super Bowl ads, Hyundai's commercials were the most effective drivers of web traffic.
The automotive website Edmunds.com analyzed Internet traffic during the Super Bowl to see which ads resulted in large traffic surges during the broadcast.
The big winner — at least in terms of immediate interest — was Hyundai, which saw a 738% increase in traffic to pages about its Santa Fe model after the company's ad hit the air.
The Santa Fe ad, which features the recently re-designed seven-seat version of the SUV, depicted a young boy and his mother gathering a group of friends to confront a group of bullies at a local park.
The Santa Fe spot far outstripped the next closest auto ad -- an Audi commercial featuring the S6 performance sedan. In that commercial, a young man who goes dateless to his high school prom ends up kissing the prom queen and getting a black eye from the prom king.
The Audi ad also seemed to result in a big jump in interest for the larger, more expensive Audi S8, although that car was not shown in the commercial.
Jeep's commercial, which solicited support for the USO and returning members of the U.S. military, led to only a modest bump in immediate interest in Jeep vehicles, according to Edmunds.com.
The Hyundai Genesis, which was also advertised shortly before kick-off, received an 830% bump in web traffic.

I don't think so. I managed to test drive both and the SF3 is way way better than the Fort in terms of suspension.

Even mine had a few kilometers as well, it is probably the same as what you mentioned - can't remember exactly. I'd like to believe its the movements of delivery from shop, port to port or in Korea. But at Pitstop they are usually delivered to their shop in a big container, probably all their units are. 30km for me is no biggie, in the US nga yung mga cars nila sa shop nila na new you can test driive and had miles on it. I am just not sure as I have not asked if they reset it in the US, I doubt. For the scratches naman, I saw one on my dash pero it is not offensive naman, very small to notice. You can always opt to not get that unit and wait for a new one to arrive, it will take months though.

Me and AV8OR have the specked out and top f the line trim na SF3 KDM, meaning we chose to get the biggest displacement at 2.2L and a 4X4 drive train. Also we took the top of the line trim, meaning we have all the bells and whistles like panoramic sunroof, etc. Is the 2.2L, 4WD unit being offered have the full option trim?

From what I gathered, as I was actually asking for the full options-top of the line (which they don't have at present), this "premium version" has 19" alloy mags (not chrome), 6-way speaker (instead of 10-way), no 3rd row vent, 110v power outlet (instead of 220k), and front grill is not full chrome. Yun lang ang difference. The rest is carried in this "premium" variant. So, the 30k reading does not mean its a 2nd hand car?
