Guys, I'm now the 5th...my STAFE is at Hyundai Commonweath at the moment for the same reason. 2nd Row is soak with water, kesyo sa Korea daw hindi siniseal mabuti at hindi naman umuulan dun ng malakas. Unfortunately, wifey is the only one following up the car but I have already written a Complaint letter to their Customer Relations. May kilala ba kayo sa Hyundai Commonweath Service Department? TIA.

was nt able to take any other pic. yes it s the rubber "rim" at the tail gate. the old one was a bit too narrow and may, in some cases, like what occurred in mine, allow water to leak through. mabilis lang ilagay.

bro joms, i'm working here overseas so i won't be able to do it. i left 2 weeks ago but will be flying back home again after 2 weeks (4 weeks on/ 4 weeks off). i guess by that time the car is already out from the service department. akala ko ako lang, dapat i-recall na nila lahat, kung hindi, everytime umulan, kailangang kapain ang carpet lagi para makasigurado.

I don't have any problem with the waterleak, however, my SF3 is scheduled on the 31st of October for check up and for re sealing.. Courtesy of HQA.

Finally mukhang matatapos na din today ng Hyundai Naga (after washing carpet, drying, re-sealing spots) and put the carpet and seats back together.... unfortunately ang new Weather Strip ay end of Nov pa daw.....

eto sample ng "more sealants" ang sagwa nga lang tingnan, tad tad ng Silicon na. haaay Hyundai!

Not good. They should have done a better job on the sealant.
Di ko pa na check yun sa kin if may water. Sabay ko na sa scheduled pms this Nov.

    Official recall na ba sya?

Parang iba yung sealang na ginamit.. Diba parang white yung sealant. I understand na silicone sealant din yung clear sa may rubber tube hosing sa tailgate, but that is already a grommet type tube.

Guys, do you know the production batch affected by this leak? How would you know if your car is included?

    Base sa VIN number..

Dr. Reyes, as i said in the other forum, punta ka nalang sa HQA, hanapin mo si IEN (service manager), alam na nya ang workflow.. Punta ka na agad habang may stock pa sila ng weatherstrip. Kung walang basa yan and they need to replace the weatherstrip and do the resealing, half-day work chief.

Naku, sorry hindi na ako, nakapag papicture, kasi pinapunta ko na lang yung driver.. But based on my driver, itim yung sealant na ginamit, and yung weatherstrip, mas makapal siya kaysa sa previous one..

Recall.. More of a silent recall for me.. Alam naman ng casa yun, kung wala kang water leak, they will base it on the VIN number.. So habang maaga pa better have it check.

What exactly do you say sa Hyundai when you want to have the sealant changed? Anong part yun?
