Hello! I've been reading this thread for days now (still a lot of pages to go though). Hehe. I'm looking into buying a 4X2 AT Santa Fe from HARI and I'm just waiting on a couple of things before the actual purchase -- one is the turnover of our new home with parking (kasi sa current residence namin "shifting" ang parking; usually nasa labas yung isang sasakyan kasi dalawa lang capacity ng garahe) and the other is the test drive. I was able to test drive a Santa Fe before from Hyundai Shaw kaso yung 4X4 variant ang available and I'd like to try the variant which I'll purchase.

By any chance, would you know of any dealer who has an available 4X2 AT test drive unit? Yung pwede sanang masubukan on real roads (Hyundai Shaw let me drive the unit for about 30 minutes sa sloping areas and uneven pavements which is nice). Most dealers kasi, sinasabi na sa parking lang nila pwede or sa nearby roads while I want to assess the performance of the vehicle sa uphill roads and uneven pavement with potholes as well as its suspension and cornering capabilities.

Sold na kasi ako with the Santa Fe based on countless hours of research and sa experience nung test drive, gusto ko lang talaga i-solidify yung decision by actually driving the variant I'll buy. TIA!

Meron na ba backing sensor at backup camera? Better yet, try mo I haggle mapalitan HU to a better unit, like Growl, complete with the rear backing camera. Where are you going to get your unit?

I actually saw that Sir Cyferion. However HQA's offer right now is not at par with what I posted above, hindi raw nila kayang tapatan this season eh. Thanks though!

Really?! I find that hard to believe on a January when people don't spend as much because the December shopping season just ended.

Keep looking, they'll all give in at the end of the month to reach their monthly quota.

I definitely will. Based on recent developments, the actual purchase might occur this coming March so I still have time to scout for the best deal. Thanks a lot Sir Cyferion! On top of the best offer I received so far, I'm aiming for an HU upgrade as suggested by Sir Larry. Tint upgrade from 3M to Huper Optik will be greatly appreciated also.

other than replacing the RearHatch Weather strip with bigger contact patches,
they also did this on our vehicle.... added more sealant on these area's....

basa din yung sakin sir nung last december. pero napansin ko na malakas mabasa pag nakaparada ka lang habang umuulan. kaya ginagawa ko paatras ako pumarada sa may apartment namin para covered yung likod. at slightly elevated din yung likod para yung tubig mag flow paharap. kaya nitong umuulan ng january, di na basa yung carpet ko.

pero kailangan madala natin sa Hyundai para ma resolve itong issue nato permanently.

They should also replace the weatherstrip or rubber door gasket sa boot ng car nyo aside from sealing some portion of your car.
