I have finally found the time to check the rear tools compartment to see if there is any leak. Good thing there is none... Thank God!
Here some pics..

Here is a good read. SF3 involved in an accident and was hit from the side in the US.
Santa Fe Sport Accident - Hyundai Forums : Hyundai Forum
Good evening Sirs!
I tried calling the dealers for this awesome deal/discount. Apparently I was informed that they no longer give such discounts as this ended about 2 months ago (I.e. Sometime August). The best discount they said they can give is only PHP25k. I inquired about year-end discount and the SA told me that most likely towards year end the discount would be less (around 10k). I found this a bit weird since car dealers typically increase the discount towards year end to encourage sales. Anyone know where to get the best deal for the 4x2 Sta. Fe gen 3?
Mali kasi sir, dapat ikaw ang nag-initiate na meron kang offer sa ganitong ibang dealer kahit wala naman and ask them if they can come up with a similar or better offer.
Hi guys,
Do you want a mini fun-run and eb? Let as say, one Sat/Sunday morning? Meet up in Petron / SLEX... We can travel to Nuvali or Straight to Tagaytay.. Breakfast then go back agad? We can also do some sticker distribution as well.
Sir SS and Larry want to do what ImperialV is suggesting. I like the fun run idea heading Tagaytay. We can also do Tanay that is less traffic.
sir Titan - hindi mo ba balak ipa seal yan kahit walang leak? Sana may mag post ng pics or video nung nagpa seal na nung rear portion ng Santa Fe 2013 nila. It will be easier for us to explain sa CASA kung paano ginawa yung pag seal.
I think hindi naman mahirap yung pag seal right? baka may i apply lang silang silicone sealant ba?
Pwede din ako funrun provided na I am at home in Marikina. Tanay is also a good place to do funrun

wala pa din nangyayari sa Hyundai Naga, my sister will go there again this afternoon to pushthem. (they only took photo's/ made a documented report to report back to HARI)....they said they'r still waiting for the new weather strip/seal. anyway in parallel i also called up service of Hyundai L.P. ganun din nga sa sinabi ni ser tt_boy3ds. the bonus point is they may have new weather seal - sooner....
anyway basta today na checkpoint, whether antayin sa probinsya or will drive the car back to Manila....
ngek kala ko pa naman na solve ng hyundai naga. isusunod ko sana sakin.
Although you have a point, I will check with my dealer. For now, I am still satisfied. I am not fond of removing panels if not necessary, preventive measure din to keep things from rattling.
I agree sana meron mga pics kung ano na palitan and what sealant was applied and where.
baka punta ako this week sa isabela, naka usap ko SA sa hyundai santiago, na informed na daw sila about the leak... I'll try to post pics habang ginagawa.
anyway good news, nag text SA ko dumating na daw plates ko, i thought abutin pa 9 months![]()
Thanks for the pics Sir T|tan. I believe yours was already sealed before the car was sold to you. If you can see from your pictures the beige sealant applied near the sides, I believe that is the affected area since it is what the CASA showed me through the pictures they gave me:

I guess if you see a sealant was applied near the sides of the tail, you won't have to bring it to the CASA for repair. Hope these will help you guys identify if your units are affected by the leak problem.
Thanks for sharing JYGG! Whew, I was wondering if there would be a need to bring it in for resealing.
Sir Junkun, will wait for your pic posting for comparison purposes.

Haven't experienced this leak so far. Although my car is parked indoors, it has its fair share of being driven under heavy rains. Hopefully I wont experience this problem but will ask my CASA to check on this on my next PMS.
