ser alam mo Mfg date ng auto mo? if not...send me the vin# i can.check it for u. btw we.need find out ano affected.mfg. dates and when Hyundai Korean plant started with countermeasures. mahirap din malaman sa awto namin kasi madalas sa bubong lang yun. dapat HARI should come clean with this issue and deal with this truthfully and not just wait for customer complaints.
tagal naman next year sir larry. kaya nga i've been waiting in the 2nd hand market for a SF3 pero up to now, isa pa lang nakita ko binenta dahil pumunta ng ibang country owner. it seems the present owners are very much satisfied with their units kaya walang nagbebenta. i agree na mahirap palitan ang santa fe. i own a 2.5 gen and wala ako makita worthy pampalit except for the SF3. in case meron magpalit dito to a 4x4 or maxcruz, i'll be waiting for your well maintained unit po. just PM me.
salamat sir epb888. saan exactly na car center? dami kasi dun eh. daan ako after office mamaya.
From what i've seen from different sites on the net, this appears to be caused by a seal (or lack of it) from the taillights? I left my unit in the rain for more than a week then checked the floor when I had my seat covers installed (they had to pull out the 3rd row seats) and luckily it was dry. I hope it was already corrected.
tt_boy3ds , yeah I experience it last aug. Brought it back to the dealer and according to them there was leak on the back door. Works done by casa are: remove reinstall tail light and bumper to give way for repair /apply sealant on the bolt thread of tailgate rubber stopper. It seem the leak came from the area somewhere around the tail light. It took them 4 days to have the carpet dried up. third row seat was also removed.
What could be the highest mileage (km) among SF3 owners here...Mine has 6,600++
