Issues sa Tucson 2010

Gumanda naman yung hatak ng Tucson ko from Shell Diesel Ultra to Shell V-Power Diesel. Pero hindi masyadong noticed.

Sa FC tumipid by 1km/L.

Engine noise nabawasan din.

Ano na FC mo ken ?

I got the same issue sa right rear fender ko I noticed na may chip...Good thing though when I had my car fixed ng insurance binigyan nila ako ng touch up paint...yun lang ayoko lagyan by myself dahil ayoko naman pumalpak at lalo pang lumaki yung damage...it seems nga may poor paint quality..mine is sleek silver also sir.

nagkaroon na din ng small paint chip-off sa front bumper ko right side near the fender. dun mismo sa corner. nag 2-step detailing kasi ako kahapon and dun ko napansin. need to be extra careful when cleaning that area. I'm planning to repair with touch-up paint para di lumaki.

After less than a month of waiting, Got my new Tucson Theta II GLS 4x2 AT last Friday at Hyundai Dasmarinas....

After driving it home, i noticed the engine na parang may toktok sound. parang diesel, but not that loud. Pero pag nasa loob ka, dinig mo din pag patay ng stereo at aircon. Dapat pag gas diba dapat tahimik?

Also, dinig ba talaga yung throttle everytime you stepped on the gas pedal? Gusto ko kase yung tahimik..

Tinawagan ko na yung service nila dadalhin ko yung unit tomorrow para ma check nila.

you can never disclaim someone's experience because you were never there unless you can prove it otherwise...mahirap yun! also, if i were on a demo job to discourage people from buying a tucson, then i must be one rich bloke to spend more than a million just to throw away when i don't get paid by any other competitor. people here have written what they wrote because that was what we have experienced with our tucsons. if you don't believe it and you feel offended by what we are posting, is suggest you say it as politely as you can without discrediting other people.

ganito nalang....bili ka ng theta II tucson, pag nagkaproblema ka with your unit, wag kang mag popost dito dahil kakainin mo lahat ng sinabi mo pag nagkaproblema ka sa oto mong bibilhin.

as i have mentioned way back, i love my tuc and i was just unfortunate with the problems i've encountered. i'm sure that does not deter you from buying one.

hello everyone! i,m just a newbie here on this thread. i own a 2010 theta II 4x2 AT gls-2.0 which i got at hyundai-cavite last april 2010. i just read an article on the Phil. Daily Inquirer today at the business page to quote: "Hyundai ordered the recall of more than 500 Tucson sport utility vehicles in the United States in early March due to potentially defective airbags". hindi ba tayo kasama or dapat maging concerned dito? kasi nabasa ko sa mga previous threads ninyo dito at mukhang hindi pa na discuss ang tungkol sa airbags kasi wala pa namang nababangga (at sana wala talagang mabangga na Tucson) para ma-deploy ang airbags... for information lang guys..

Ok lng yan kasi malamang may defect rin yun CRV na bibilhin ni Jimny. Kung iniisip nya na mas reliable ang Honda, dyan sya nagkakamali. Naayos na ba issue mo sa Tucson or still pending case?

Pag nagreklamong may defect yung CR-V ni OB, hindi ako maniniwala..

Kasi siya naman talaga may defect.

Everyone must be feeling the same way. I guess it is because our engine block are not solid steel but aluminum, hence, it's more noisy.

another contributor to the noisy engine are the plastic intake manifolds.

para yan sa forward passenger airbag na may PODS (passive occupant detection system) d ko alam kung may PODS ang tucson natin sa pilipinas,sa USA kasi meron sila ng ganitong function.ito ung system na nag sasabi kung adult,child or kung walang nakaupo sa passenger side.correct me if im wrong

Walang PODS yung local Tucson, pati yung KDM wala rin.

Iniintay ko nga lumabas yung six airbags ng sabay-sabay hahaha

Tutal eh na-repaint na yung half ng car, iniintay ko nalang magkaron ng Major issue para mapalitan ng KDM LMX20..

Ingatan niyo mga Tucson niyo, as much as possible huwag niyo ipahiram sa iba lalo na kung di kayo kasama. Nakaka walang gana pag na-repaint na yung panels. Trust me.
