Akala ko we were the first to have a Santa FE in our village. It only goes to show na sumisikat na talaga ang Santa Fe.

My wife gets 7 city driving but i get less than that. Ours is also a gas model.

Anyways, a black SF was fallowing me yesterday sa may commonwealth coming from philcoa towards fairview. It only shows SF is really getting popular.

kulang sa standard features (re passenger side airbags, sensor, immobilizer)
cheap stereo & sound system di tape deck
kaya nag 5 years kasi hindi mabili
    parang starex malaki pero underpowered
    naglagay pa ng 3rd row
hindi papatulan ng credible insurance kasi hyundai
delikado standard issue tires, madaling sumabog

Well, yeah, some of these was my opinion before pero if you analyze each of these statement, sa tingin mo ba totoo. "kulang sa standard features"? hmmm Talaga ha? Ano kaya "standard" sa kanila?
Wag na lang patulan yan, Basta ako masaya ako sa SF ko, more than our other cars, and our other cars are none koreans, 2 europeans(Benz and Bimmer), 3 mitsus(Pajero, adventure, and strada), Ford ranger 4x4, an isuzu crosswind and LS Pick-up. I dont want to sound like bragging pero I just want to point out how execellent the SF performs.

Ano kaya ang standard sa kanila. Samantala ang SF ay nasa sa world market. and sila yong ibang entry nila never heard sa USA and Europe at bagsak pa sa Australia. So Funny

Hi Minero. I drive a Black SF (CRDI 4x4). Im from Fairview. I bet I saw you na sometime. What if I honk once next time we meet? That would be interesting. What color SF do you drive?

BTW, I had a grand time during my trip to Clark over the week end. Speeds at 160kph was a breeze. It seems few cars were running at this speed. The wife and kids appreciated the smooth & very quiet ride. Im very impressed with the performance of this car.

I've also sold two cars in this site and both were in record time (posted the first day and sold the next day), thanks to tsikot.com.

Just like *******ino, we were not considering SFwhen we decided that it's time to buy a new car, although I fell in love with it when I first saw it in the showroom last year. Among the candidates were fortuner, CRV, and the new mitsubishi fuzion. But then somebody told us "Why not look into the Santa Fe? It's a very good SUV." Suddenly, my love at first sight with SF came alive and I got so excited that I immediately scanned this site for SF reviews until I found this thread. I followed this thread for two weeks from first post to the end and from what I read I became more and more convinced to get the SF, until we closed a deal with Hyundai Alabang a week ago and brought home our unit yesterday. WOW! I can't believe I'm driving the one a really wanted in the first place. I couldn't have made a better choice.

Thanks to all of you guys who made this thread. It's definitely a BIG HELP.

By the way, we got the gun metal color and it looks so good. Thanks again.
The best part of SF ownership is when you do long distance driving. Its quiet, fast, powerful and very comfortable. The car is not perfect but overall, the SF is still best in class IMHO at this price range. Read thru the European, Australian, American users review and know how your SF will perform.

This also happened to me. Bring it back to the dealer, hindi lang nila nakabit ung speedo cable. This is not a defect, just a forgetful engineer.

Ganyan talaga ibang agent, nagmamagaling. Di nila gayahin si lui

At that discount level, most likely they will release a new model of the galant na. Besides, I had a lot of bad experience before with Mistubishi dealers -- particularly with Citimotors. Parts availability was always an issue and repair time was always 2 to 3 x longer than my other cars. IMHO, their service was bad then. Not sure now... Atleast sa Hyundai, you have 10 dealers/service centers to choose form in Metro Manila alone. They need to be efficient and competitive to be in business for the long term.

Despite of the many pedestrian overpasses, dami lasing dyan who cross everywhere and all the time. Sayang SF mo pag nagkataon... joke lang....

+1 here. "ahh ganun ba, ikaw ano auto mo?" a classic! Its funny how non- users have negative opinions of Hyndai/SF performance while people who own one have exactly the opposite to say....

Baka ikaw ser yung nakasalubong ko once na alang plaka sa Alabang-Zapote rd. im also driving s Gun Metal and there's also one SFeyer with the same color.

    Congrats sa inyo ni *******ino!

While stock pa rin SF ko, ala na pa rin ako naiisip na mod kudi bigger Mags lang. i just love the leather seates na amoy pinipig at presko sa wetp*ks. sound maybe not as very good but pretty descent. better than my previous Jap Cars on a stock basis.

    Lumalaki na tayo!
