well, i really can't wait for 10 moths. pero sayang. i picked the 2.7 V6 because of its AWD drivetrain

sulit na sulit pa rn naman kahit 4x2, anyway sa akin 99% on-road ako. yoko yata i-offroad gandang SF ko unless kelangan talaga.

RWD and 4WD has advantage over FWD when cornering specially at high speed. They have what they called power oversteer. Also, I experienced the advantage of RWD sa Baguio when I was parking my SF on a steep road. Basa ang cemented road kaya when I was trying to go up dumudulas yung 2 front wheels. Di nakaya. But then yung Revo ng bayaw ko na gas and RWD ay maning-mani lang inakyat. So anybody contemplating on getting a SF and often travel to Baguio or high places, better get the 4x4 crdi to benefit more from the pulling power of the crdi.

nagawa na ba SF mo? Yung SF ko 1 month na wla pa ring nangyayari. Hyundai Alabang sucks big time!Last week they told me that they have to receive LOA from Insurance and it arrived yesterday. Now their reason for delay this time is the bumper. Hindi pa daw nadating from HARI! baka sa Korea pa siguro manggagaling?
Nakakapanibago dahil sanay ako sa Toyota Pasong Tamo na 1 week lang na-repair Altis ko na pinalitan ang headlight, bumper at driver side door! Disappointed talaga ako! Hay naku!

Safala: Sir yung stock na Hankook DynaProHP plus, ok naman ang grip. even when it's raining, i never had problems with it. Inulan din ako sa Baguio e. I was doing 100kmh+ uphills and zigzags, hehehe. I will never do that again. After that drive, hilong hilo ako. G-force overdose ata.

Centum: di pa nagagawa SF ko dahil nakikipagnegotiate pa yung bumangga sakin. Inabot kasi ng P108th yung estimate. Sabi naman sakin erod available naman daw ang mga parts. Pero baka sabi lang kasi kung yung rear bumper mo ay hindi available baka yung front bumper ay di rin. Sana maipasok ko na next week. Dahil palit naman hood and front bumper sabi ko sa casa pinturahan nila ng di nakakabit para magamit so SF.

Horsepower: stock tire ko ay Kumho Radial 798 plus. Mas maganda kaya Hankook? Okay naman yung grip paakyat ng Marcos highway. The problem occurred nung paakyat ako sa steep side street (around 30 degrees).

By the way, did you notice something unusual with your tranny when you went up sa Baguio? Halfway kasi sa Marcos Hiway, I was in auto and noticed that the rpm was 3000. The engine also sounds loud. When I put on manual it was on 2nd gear so i tried to upshift. Pero ayaw. I thought the computer function is to protect the engine from high rpm pero bakit ayaw mag-upshift? Ang nangyari tuloy ang bagal namin dahil ayaw ko naman lumampas ng 3000 rpm.

Anybody of you encountered this problem?

P120k boss melvin, ramdam mo nga yung lakas ng hatak niya sa manibela lalo at highspeed( 160kph and more),pero sa umpisa lang.

same thing happened to me...actually it happened twice already..cuz i went up to baguio twice na...same area...marcos highway also!!! engine suddenly downshifted to 2nd and didnt want to shift anymore...even if i switched to tiptronic...what i did was to come to a full stop...then the gear released and went back to normal....i already reported this to hyundai...even had the AT checked...normal naman and no problem daw yung AT...according to them, the gear box automatically shifts if and when the engine needs more torque...I agree with their findings...but i still dont know why the gear got stucK in second....even when the RPM is already at 4000!

Maybe there is a magnetic field there, just like along the highway going to Caylabne!

Chuaa: kinabitan ba ng analyzer SF mo? I reported din kasi sa erod ang sabi sakin dapat daw at 3000+ mag-upshift na automatically. The SA said that next time I do PMS kakabitan daw nila ng analyzer para makita kung may error code.
