ask ko,lang po mga naka sta.fe 2.2 crdi 4x4, wats the fuel consumption of your rides? city and highway? tnx![]()
Yup, isa si Oldblue na kumain ng sinabi nya. Puro pang-aasar sya nun sa SF tapos in the end bumili din. hehehe.
Basing on this pattern of behavior, baka bumili din sya ng outlander. hehe
Medyo malakas ata FC ng SF ko.
I think nasa 6 to 8 km/L.
We went to Tanay, Rizal yesterday from Sta Ana Manila.
Before we left, fuel gauge is at 3/4. and before arriving back home, nag-refuel kami and it cost P600 to get it back to the 3/ 4 level.
Well, considering that Rizal has lot of zigzag roads (Teresa), kaya siguro mataas anf FC.
Na-test ko si SF sa akyatan (I have adult passengers), and all I can say is na-miss ko ang response ng MT sa akyatan. Sometimes kasi I drive our company service na Crosswind XUV MT.
hindi accurate ang FC if you use the fuel gauge as basis, always top-up when you compute. Tataas talaga FC mo kung mostly Hill climbs ang daan.
Did you use the sports mode or just left in D? I went to baguio one time, with a full load of passengers up to the third row, used D most of the time, I did not feel the need to down shift using the sports mode.
Hi, would a good break-in help in improving fuel economy? Anyway, I have CRDi and have just driven a total of 1,600 KM (3 fill-ups) on my ride. FC is averaging 9+ km/l.
Hi TFR, C190
From Antipolo to Morong, the road descends and bumubulusok pababa ung Car kaya apak lang ako sa preno maya't maya. I was hesitant to use sports mode to utilize engine break kasi di ko pa totally kabisado ang Sports Mode.
From Morong to Tanay, uphill nanaman. Nawawala bwelo ng Car because of this LGS Jeepney na nagbaba ng passengers sa zigzag road. No choice but to stop and not to overtake them because of blind curves. From stop and to get the car going on an uphill, I really had to rev up the engine (Using D) only. Dito ko na-miss ung Low End Torque ni Crosswind.
I was hesitant to use the Sports Mode pa during the uphill kaya all D lang ang ginamit ko.
Next time pag-aralan ko gamit ng Sports Mode.
Anyway, that trip cost us P600 sa fuel.
Napansin ko lang, mura Diesel don sa Rizal by as much as 2 pesos.
This was at Shell paglagpas ng Imperial and Caltex sa Tanay.
Add ko lang:
May uphill instances na may bwelo naman si SF and I think it was on 3rd Gear (Auto Mode) pero umaakyat siya and ang nasa 50kph ako. Pag nakabwelo naman sya sa akyatan ramdam mo ang torque.
Bwisit lang talaga tong mga Jeep na nagbaba sa zigzag road. Pati tuloy ako no choice but to stop also.
mt pede kang maglong-gearing eh, but im not sure if even the XUV mt can out run the SF sa akyatan.also learn to use your sportshift para di ka bitin.
i've tested that even at 1: 10 slope, asa 2000-2500rpm lang ako, 2nd gear. the zigzag on the way to from Talisay to Tagaytay masarap itry SF kasi meron don mga biglang liko na halos alang bwelo at medyo matarik pero short.
Ok lang sa D drive all the way, no need for sports mode
rear disc brakes yan kaya di na kailangan engine brake for normal driving condition, unless nagmamadali ka at hataw downhill....
Ingat lang sa gas station na di kabisado, yung iba may halo ng tubig not intentionally pero dahil binabaha location at old na storage tank![]()

hmmm......parang sa Pasig at Pasay?
*TFR
pwede na![]()
