175BHP * 4000RPM not bad for a 2.2L engine.

(hehehehe)

www.speedlab.com.ph is where you can look for install and current pricing.

And if you did not notice the dyno was done before the new front mount intercooler was installed so it actually makes more than 175hp and 330lbs of torque. One of the fastest SUV's in the PI.

And the thing people need to remember about dyno testing is that it test peak hp, People do not drive around at full throttle all day long. This motor will most likely out live all your stock engines, It runs cooler, more efficient, has more power at fewer rpms so does not need to be reved as high for normal driving, Much lower exhaust gas temperatures which equal longer turbo life and longer engine life, And not to mention the almost completely carbon/soot free internals it will have from the water/alcohol injection and the 70% to 80% reduction in emissions are not hurting anything as well.

The water injection can be removed in about 10 minutes for trips to the dealer. Fortunately in the states it does not effect warranties, say your starter goes bad, or fuel pump, your front shock ect, all has zero to do with the water injection system being in use there for does not effect your warranty. It has to have a direct effect on a item to void it. Properly installed kits have zero downsides.

Check out this thread if you want all the specifics or stop by Speedlab in QC.

Sa States po siguro hindi maapektohan ang warranties pero dito sa atin, I just dont know. I will consult my dealer at kung hindi maapektohan, I might want to consider putting one in mine too! (hehehehe)

(hehehehe)

The owner is a Doctor, I believe a anaesthesiologist.

Install and kit on a digital progressive kit is 20500P total. Expect 20% more overall power depending on nozzle size and alcohol mix. Most CRDI engines pick up much more.

Common rail engines will pick up the most power, The Starex being one of the highest factory rated Turbo diesels around will easily and I mean easily pick up 30hp to 50hp depending on nozzle size and mix. A DO3 nozzle will get you in that HP range. A DO4 will be close to 50 to 60hp but consumption will be high.

But if you just want around 25hp to 30hp the 2gph nozzle will work well. The proven best combo is the DO1 pre-turbo and DO3 or DO2 nozzle at the intake.(quote)

Is this the same combo used in Santa Fe- DO1 pre turbo/DO2 nozzle intake?

No this vehicle did the single DO3 nozzle (3 gallons per minute/ 189ml minute) Your type of alcohol and percentage also play a big role in power. But even with water you can get a major bump in HP. You just have to find a mix that works best for you. 20% to 15% alcohol is about all you need for a nice power increase and a complete burn of your diesel fuel.

For example on this 1997 MPV gives you a Ideal on how the kit works, This is with just a 2gph nozzle. He has since put in a 1gph nozzle pre-turbo and makes even more power. Fastest MPV in the PI, pulls like crazy from 1500 to 3000rpms. The more inefficient the engine is the bigger the gains, Mazda, Isuzu and Ford Turbo diesels tend to get huge gains.

Tanong lang po. May nakapag tow na ba dito ng trailer with a 4x2 CRDI? Balak ko kasi magpagawa ng custom trailer for very long trips when I go on holiday with my family.

    ano ba hahatakin mo?

Naghanap din ako sa internet at within that price nga $350. Kung 19K sa Hyundai Global, mahal.

Balak ko kasi maghatak ng trailer for some other essential things like camping gear, additional spare tire, personal things, at pati narin mountain bike. Actually, I don't like roof racks.

At naisip ko custom trailer na siguro up to 1300 kg ang weight including the things I mentioned above. I read in some forums that an SF can do up to 3000lbs towing capacity. But I have doubts that this is only applicable to a 4x4 V6 gas version.

Tow vehicle with 2 househelps in the 3rd row, my wife, my mom and 2 kids in the 2nd, I and my driver for alternate driving in the first + approx. 1200kg gross for trailer. Of course on-road leisure driving lang.

Diba there's a rating on how heavy the SF can tow? nasa Manual ata yon if I remember correctly.

If I am not mistaken, may restriction ata sa license ito diba (towing)? (Please correct if I am wrong).
