    Other vehicle brands, you need the ATto be at P or N for you to be able to pull out the key. not with the GS, even at D, you can pull out the key.... But wait till you attempt to start the vehicle..... Hehehe

    Hi! Newbie sa thread here... just want to ask, do you think maglalabas ng VGT manual na 10 seater? Ngayon kasi manula unit ng HARI WGT and sa greymarket naman lahat matic... thanks!

    You mean VGT manual sa grey market, bro? You can ask them, bro....

    Just replaced my OEM battery (3years 9months) with a Motolite Gold for P6K+....

    Sa mga GS owners, gaano kainit ang mags nyo after a short drive? Ngayon ko lang napansin, parang ang init ng front mags ng GS namin, mas mainit kaysa sa iba naming sasakyan. Kaya ko pa naman hawakan yung mags, pero medyo nakakapaso na.

    Akala ko dahil manipis na brake pads or may sumasayad sa brakes. Pinapalitan ko pads (* 90k km) at check kung may sayad sa brakes, wala naman daw, sabi ng mechanic.

    Normal lang ba sa GS na uminit ng ganun? Siguro dahil mas malaki sya kaysa sa sedan or SUV...

    Appreciate if GS owners could provide feedback also.

    I think its because HARI units don't have shift lock unlike in gray units, shift lock comes standard.

    nagtatago ng mga manual unit ang HARI ngayon, mabenta kasi ang unit ng grey market.
    in case naman sa manual unit ng grey market, may isang member dito na nag sabi na meron naman manual..kaso by order daw

    Ganyan din ang sa akin bro.,- so IMO, normal lang siya...

    Kaya nga hindi mo siya basta-basta dapat ilusong sa baha...

    "Selective" shift lock ata ang sa GS. Don't gray units allow one to leave it in N? Can't recall who does that, but I think it was on this board. Si yebo kaya?

    Kakagising ko lang, galing ako manaoag and dagupan last night. Tignan ko mamya, breakfast lang ako. Di ko kasi naeencounter yan, i have the habit of always putting it in P when shutting it down or befofe starting e.

    Hmmm... Then it might not have been you bro. Anyhow, ako din, di ako mapalagay kung hindi nakalagay sa P yung shifter before I take out the key. (Not to mention that the Prado requires this or else the key gets stuck in the hole.) With such big rigs, I try and give as much assistance to the parking brake as possible -- with the tranny being locked in P.

    Ok, after my breakfast of cofee and goto....

    hari unit model 2011 grand starex
    - can shift from p-r-n-d even with no key in
    - can shift from p-r-n-d even when not stepping on the brakes, engine stopped, key in ON position. I did not try with engine running, mahirap na nasa loob ng garahe kasi. Mamya try ko sa open street, tinatamad pa ko ilabas sa garahe kasi.
    - can start in p and n even without stepping on the brakes
    - can not start in r or d

    ^yup walang click ng starter in R or D.

    I was able to try shifting p-r-n-d with engine running and not stepping on the brakes yesterday, wala talaga shifter lock solenoid and hari unit. While on the sorento, i needed to turn the ignition on, start the engine and step on the brakes before the shifter was released by the lock. Tangnang hari yan!

    yun na try ko rin was the 2011 model from HARI. Wala nga talaga.

    Anung CASA ba ang ok ng Hyundai? Up to now We still have not fixed the lag problem of our grand starex. ( I mentioned earlier in this thread) Medyo hassle.
