di pa naman ako na-cited for speeding sa nlex or sctex, although lagi ako harurot dun. just last june 20 nag-170kph ako sa sctex coming from subic (using my sta fe) and i was at it for at least 10 minutes, slowed down only after i passed a sctex patrol (pero busy sya attending to a stopped vehicle on the side) hehe.
passed by magilas trail going to manaoag nga pala, laki na progress sa sctex extension (the one going to rosario). lapit na matapos yung bridge sa ramos at natambakan na. sana next year tapos na. balak ko bumili ng house/condo sa baguio hehehe!

Lucky you then. I'm a bit hesitant to gun it as the lead or lone car along NLEx or SCTEx. When I was with my dad (I was using the Prado), we were playing in the 170-180 kph range headed toward Tarlac but were not pulled over. I was confident he knew where the cops were. But on my Bataan trip last April, I just stuck to the 100-120 kph range. Plus the Sedona and gas Fortuner I was leading seemed to have lacked the oomph to catch up when I'd floor it just a bit north of 120.

Napapaisip na nga ako sa GS mo, bro. Parang ang daming issue. Then again, baka pati yung akin, di lang masyadong sensitive ang aking pandinig. Hehehe!
Anyhow, yes there should be some noise. It's a diesel engine after all. Although IMO, insulation is pretty good on the GS. I've heard more engine noise in a Montero Sport and a Strada.
As to the aircon, usually that's a case of some water/liquid na natuyo sa loob ng cabin. It's the rainy season, so it could be from a an umbrella, o partially wet rag, gym clothes. Air it out and/or do some runs with the a/c on fresh air mode.

Bro.,- here's a solution to your issue.
Turn off your compressor about 3 minutes before you turn off your blower.
Should resolve the smell issue on initial A/C on....
I have not done this with our GS, but this should work to clear the vents/pan of any condensation.
And yes, charcoal is a wonder...
