Good day! Just had my stock tire replaced with also same brand hankook RA08 for Php5900 at banawe. The only thing different that i noticed was the original oem hankook is made in korea, but the new pair that i bought is made in CHINA. I hope it does not affect the quality of the tire.
Mukhang Kumho ipapalit ko na tires. Or goodyear but 225/70

Its available at sonny ok store and mega motion. Sir ron 2008 din ba model ng GS nyo and is it from pitstop? Mine is from pitstop so i am assuming they got the gs cbu kaya siguro made in korea yung oem nya. The tires are exactly the same except for the made in korea and china part.
Hoping i do not have the same bad experience as with sir ron. My stock tire was ok not sure about this china made tire. We'll see.
Looks like Kumho pinka maayos na Korean tire

just changed both my rear tires from stock nexen to bridgestone dueler 687. Day and night ang difference sa talbog, probably kasi kalbo na yung tires talaga. So happy with the results. Only problem is 99S lang ang loading index ng bridgestone.
Load Rating index of 99 can handle 1,709 pounds x 4 = 6,836 pounds / 2.2 = 3,107 kgs.
Listed weight of the GS (according to Hyundai Grand Starex | Auto Search Philippines) is 2,204 kgs curb or 2,770 kgs gross. That's about 337 kgs of leeway. Should be ok. How often is it fully laden?
For reference, I've been on tires with load index of 97 (1,609 x 4 = 6,436 / 2.2 = 2,925 kgs). Mas mabili nga lang naupod yung goma, though not sure how much of that is because of the weight and how much is because of the tire's inherent treadwear. Just make sure to abide by the tire pressures indicated on your driver's side door.
Wala ako mahanap na Kumho Portran, kaya baka mag Goodyear efficientgrip SUV na lang talaga ako.
