Fyi, the 12% increase in torque of the Euro 5 engines is really very noticeable, the acceleration is light and brisk, feels like a bigger engine, very torquey. The switch to electric radiator fan reduced the noise quite a bit, and lighten the load of the engine just a bit.

It is not responsible for the 12% added torque. The added torque is coming from the 'new system' of Euro 5 version designed by Hyundai for the Grand Starex.

Yung Aux fan talaga ng Euro 5 engines nagbabago ng speed depende sa temperature yata or sa rpms. Kasi yung amin pag bagong start then on na ang A/C di ganun kabilis ikot niya. Pag nahataw na ayun nabilis na ikot. Tapos tried ko on yung A/C while idle. Mahina ikot. Then pag ni rev ko up to 4k rpm. Ayun nabilis ikot niya. then pag balik niya ng idle speed which is below 1k rpm mahina ulit ikot niya.

i'm just wondering anyway, if that extra 40N-m torque will be worth it.
Yup,- I am okay with the now "old school" thermoswitch and relay approach... Just one speed fan..... Should work....

Ken, kahit din naman kay Hancars 2.1M na rin yung HVX Premium. Blame the rising rate of taxes being imposed by the Bureau of Customs.
