Yun lang. And I'm assuming the units with that engine will be priced at a premium.
Anyone here on the board with updated pricing/accessories listings from gray market dealers?

Anu kaya problem neto?
Balik sa dealer. Baka may kelangan lang higpitan or ire-lube (I hope).
*CVT, any othe details on the folks on THP who had rear sliding door problems?
Yung akin sir di ko alam kung sa rear seats or sa sliding door, basta yung ingay niya sa mga lubak madalas sa Osmeņa Hiway nalabas or sa Magallanes. Basta sa mga lubak dun. Hehe
Ano kaya yun? Covered din ba ng warranty yun?
I don't know if this was posted here already. Last weekend, while overtaking, my Starex HVX suddenly lost power. I was still able to pass the car I'm overtaking, but can't catch up anymore with the next car ahead. Tried to floor the pedal repeatedly but still can't regain the power. I then turned off the engine while stopped at a traffic light and started it again. And engine power was back to normal.
I told this to a friend who also owns a Starex, and he told me the battery needs replacing already, even if there's no sign that the battery needs replacing. This was also experienced by several Starex owners here.
My Starex is just 1yr and 3 months old.

Malayo lang kasi ang gasoline stations na may turbo diesel dito sa amin! Tsk.
Kailangan ko pa pumunta ng C5.minsan traffic pa.
Don't think so. My GS is back to normal after restarting the engine.
What's limp mode?
Didn't noticed if nagredline, but I was in the process of overtaking. I was about to catch up the next vehicle I was going to overtake when I felt the loss of power.

Parang fail-safe ng engine bro., enough for you to bring the vehicle home/repair shop, but at a very low speed,- like 20KPH lang yata....And yes, even if you floor the accelerator, you will only run that slow.... Did the check engine lamp light in your instrument panel?
My experience with our 3-month old Gen3 back in Jan,-2005: Marcos Hiway going up to Baguio. Fully loaded,- I was revving the engine at about 3KRPM for about 20-25minutes and overtook all of the vehicles along the way. On the last long incline before reaching Baguio City proper, I was overtaking another vehicle when I lost almost all power. Engine did not stop, but I went into limp mode... I parked alongside the road and let it run for a while,- turned off the engine,- restarted and the problem was gone. I did not change the battery until about 2 years after....No problem of that type whatsoever, until I sold the vehicle a couple of years ago....

Hang on, usually if the engine goes into limp mode, the Check Engine Light (CEL) goes on. Did you notice something different (like the CEL) turn on on the dash?
