Nakakahiya yung Gold kapag cinompare sa CVX
Peace Gold owners
CVX Premium has more features than our local Gold.

CVX Luxury - 12 seater, manual AC control, no steering wheel audio remote.
CVX Premium - Auto climate control, steering wheel audio remote, 11 seater, ECM rearview mirror, VDC.
CVX Premium with Sunroof - Same features with CVX Premium pero may dual sunroof.
Anaknam*#%*#$!!!! Sinong may sabi?
...Tumpak!

You do forget that you're driving a van as big as an Expedition. Having the engine located separately from the passenger area does play a big part in the quiet interior, although maganda nga din yung insulation ng GS.
Our GS is TCi A/T Oct 2009.
What I meant was the 4 sockets have provision for a second contact. So, we just transferred the contacts+wires from the second pair and put them on the first pair and so, we have double contact sockets.

At yung HARI version walang signal repeater/body color side mirrors kahit pa gold version. Baka sa platinum variant meron na heheheh. Afaik gray market units lang may body color side mirror w/ signal repeaters.

Hmmm... I think 1 pair is already double contact, but you have to rewire for the '2nd contact' to work. The other pair, in my case, had to be changed from single to double contact.
Aside from the side mirror repeaters and body colored side mirrors on the Gold, we also do not have fender signal lights. Did a T3D and had these purchased from Pasay. For a high end/high priced unit, it's a bit 'Toyota' in terms of accessories. Hehehe! And it does pale in comparison with the CVX.
Korek ka riyan, bro. That is why we have to remove the wires/contacts from the second pair and put them in the first pair to make them(first pair) functional double contact sockets.
Ohhh,- so you got yourself a pair of fender (signal) lights, ala T3D, ha?.... Nice!
I'd still say that Toyota is worse compared to Hyundai in that respect, bro...

A lot of other kia and hyundai products also use the euro pattern brake lamps wherein the taillamps and brake lamps dont share the same housing. Just go with whatever you like better as long as you maintain them functioning well.
How would it look kaya if chrome on the side mirrors....
15.3K:jazzybass:
yung GS ng taga subdivision namin meron chrome covers sa side mirror. it reminds me of an over decorated baroque jeepney. chrome trim on the head lights, chrome trim on the tail lights, chrome fenders, chrome door handles, chrome lined step board, chrome trim on the bumpers, and yes, chrome covers on the side mirrors. the side mirrors is always the first thing i notice when i see that GS cause it's the biggest piece of chrome on it. kulang na lang talaga e chrome na kabayo sa hood.
"a matter of taste"? a beautiful ***y lady dressed up in glitter can look cheap, imho.
I'm personally not a fan of chrome. I don't hate it such that I won't sandpaper and paint over OEM chrome, coz more often than not, OEM chrome is just enough, at least on the cars I drive, but I won't add to it.
The Prado's side mirrors and front grille are chrome. And the side mirrors are very obvious what with their size and position. But I can live with those. What I can't is to slap on the same chrome on the GS's side mirrors.
It was only yesterday that I was trailing a new GS with the same color (hypermetallic). From just the rear, you could see it was a HARI unit (1 pair of stoplights), no CVX or HVX but no GOLD. It already had the chrome taillight kit. Lo and behold, he turns the corner, and there you see all the other chrome parts. Oh well. To each his own taste.
