Guys,- any update on your Gen4s?

    1. Variant (TCI-M/T, TCI-A/T, CRDi-M/T, CRDi-A/T)
    2. Purchase Date Or Vintage
    3. Mileage
    4. Rate of Fuel Consumption
    5. Major Issues/Problems Encountered / Parts replaced et al
    6. Features/Performance You Particularly Liked In Your Van....

I own a Gen3 TCI-A/T 45K Km on the Odo, around 6.5Km/L city driving, 8.5Km/L highway driving,- mightily satisfied with it.

I am looking at replacing this Sept/Oct this year, when it turns 5 years old (average of only 10K Km/year). I am considering the Gen4, so I need your oh so precious feedbacks.... TIA.

anybody experience being grounded sa mga toll booth specially sa nlex at sctex. Lagi kasi ako nakukuryente pag inaabot ko yung bayad. Last night the teller made a comment that it is common sa gen4 starex.

Never experienced it with my GEN4 from PITSTOP, but the tellers at SCTEX hands me a paper box where to put the money and gives the change also in the box and I am wondering why? Yun pala iyon.

Ok, Ano po kaya pinagkaiba ng sa Pitstop at HARI. Nakaka phobia kasi ma-ground ka. Even yung teller sa sctex/nlex nanginginig kamay pag aabutin yung bayad eh. Most of the time nabibitawan sa karsada yung barya pag na-ground sila.

I am not really sure but PITSTOP has said they have no problems with grounding incidents in their units. Maybe we can ask sir Jay2 where he acquired his GS whether it came from HARI or PITSTOP.

    Could be static electricity.

Best way to discharge is touching a metal surface preferably connected to the earth..

Malabo na sa GS galing yung ground kasi rubber ang nasa ground. No way for earth grounding (which is the usual cases of "ground") - which is probably why it's called getting grounded in the first place.

Galing siguro sa teller booth since it's where electrical equipment run.

Yan din ang paniniwala ko dati. Pero dito lang sa starex ko naexperience ang mga ground. I can say na hindi naman ako 'ma-ground' na tao but dito sa starex walang mintis sa nlex and sctex sigurado ground ako if there is coins or magabot kami ng teller.

I noticed this grounding pagmatagal umaandar yung van kasi minsan even sa mga teller ng parking meron din pero hindi ganun kalakas, bearable sya.
