Mura lang Europa kay Master Benjie![]()
Had the 15kkm pms of our gs at hyundai lpc last Saturday. Good service!
Malamang sa common line kumukuha ng power hu at busina mo now, thats why i always suggest running a dedicated power line sa busina. But have a shop do the work. Its just a wire and a bunch of relays. Harabas kami sa busina kapag emergency. Babad parati or rapid ang gamit. Okpa naman. Hindi nga lang starex but the principle is the same.
Mas matangkad ka kaya you have better command/feel of the road... Lalayo naman ang ibang sasakyan dahil malaki ka nga,- huwag mo nga lang talaga silang gigipitin....With those advantages, mas gusto ko siyang dalhin pa rin vs. an SUV or the Innova....
Pero, wifey was comfortable driving our (then) old Gen3,- but not the GS.... Nalalakihan siya, but I guess that is psychological...

The GS is indeed bigger than the gen3 it replaces. I checked its dimensions prior to its arrival, and realized that it's just like my old gen1 exped.
In reality, though it's big, it really a lot more drivable than an exped.
Came from my suking talyer to have the GS checked prior to our drive this weekend. It's just to Bataan, but i just wanted a once over, since this time, my kids will be with us. GS is up to 8,312 kms only, so too soon if i bring it for servicing at a HARI dealer.
Everything's A-OK, except for the brakes. To my disbelief, he goes, "Sir, mukhang malapit nang palitan yung brake pads niyo sa harap." Uy! Teka muna. "Pero aabot pa naman ng mga 3 months," is what he adds.
How "hungry" are your brake pads? I thought CVT's 15tkms was par for the course, but 8-10t kms? Is it really this bad?
It is actually around 4 inches wider and about a foot longer than the Gen3....
)
Grabe ano?....

Ganun din amin sir. <10T KMS.
I think the more highway drives you do, the "longer" your brake pads will last.
Everytime you stop ata (especially often in the city) puts tremendous amounts of stress on the brakes due to the heft of the GS. Looks like the downside of getting a big, spacious vehicle.
