So far meron ba dito nagpa change oil ng starex sa pitstop motors lately? Did they suggest to put a silicone oil sa clutch fan ng aircon?

May na observe akong kalampag sa 1000km GS namin, dunno if its from the doors or suspension. Sound like something loose inside the sidings. Anyone with the same symptoms?

After lurking here for months i've learned a great deal thanks to you guys. Just got the 2012 model CVX from HANCARS can i ask you guys is the head unit USB-SD card really up to 4gb capacity only? have anyone tried using 16 or 32gb for the SD slot? the head unit is so kewwwwll it can play "avi" files flawlessly using USB now im thinking to get higher capacity im not sure if it will work..

Also is the center jump seat really that stiff?

Congrats on your new ride Di ko pa na try bigger capacity SD but it should work. Yes, medyo matigas yung center jump seats, best suited for short trips lang siguro. I'll ask Boy Chincuanco if he can make a cover to make it softer. But the van is very comfy for 8 people including the driver. Yun lang kung maraming luggage best tanggalin yung last row.

center jump seats? sorry not familiar with hancar units kasi. ano to removable 3rd row? naghahanap kasi ako for those trips na konti lang luggage but 11 people in the van.

At P30K and at P45/L,- that is over 660L. And at 6Km/L, that is equivalent to about 4,000Km.

Hehehe. Akala ko kasi tune up. Two tone pala.

Yung kalapag meron din sa sidings ko, around the sliding doors. Baka hinges. Normal naman siguro yan sa van. Lumabas yung sound aorund 3k na sa akin. Pero very minimal lang yung kalamapag nung doors ko and hardly noticeable.

Yes its true, you dont need a lifter para makita. Silipin mo lang wheel wells mo and mapapansin mo either body color or white yung mga portions ng wheels wells. Kung naka rustproof na ito it should be black na medyo sticky (pag bagong rustproof)

Most probably 8gb or higher memory cards will work. Kasi kung naka 4gb ka na and gumagana ibig sabihin hanggang 32gb na yan pwede. Buti ka pa nga. Yung hu ko hanggang 2gb lang max. And to think last year ko lang binili. Mabilis talaga advance ng technology ngayon.
Reg the jump seats talagang matigas yan. Afaik all jump seats matigas talaga. Like yung sa prehistoric L300 up to the urvans and grandias

thanks for the reply mga sir.. well the sd card got problem im using 32gb it works with mp3 but the avi movie files are slowing down and after much play time it crash.. but my 32 gb flash drive work pretty well..

i think the sd card is well suited for gps maps i think but the unit got a dash garmin gps already..

Sir, regarding the sd card meron din kasing high speed na version. Ang tawag nila parang class a or something. Baka ibang speed class yung sd card mo kaya nag slow down and crash. Its not the HU kungdi sa card po ang problem.

Parang doon nga galing. Sa amin lumalabas lang kalampag pag nadadaan sa medyo malalim/mataas na lubak. If I had the time I'd take it to the dealer. Di naman yata tama for a brand new sub 2M car hehe. I'll post what they find when I finally get time to have it checked.

re: USB or SD Card capacity of HU

I've used a 16GB and 8GB Sandisk USB flashdrive without any problem.

For SD Card, up to 4GB pa lang pero as someone mentioned above it could be the speed of the SD Card, so try to look for CLASS 4 or higher and SDHC type na. Yung pong mga Class A or B or C, I believe this is yung kung imitation lang siya and not geniune SD cards (so if the seller said "Class A" yung card, it is definitely imitation lang at hindi related sa speed ng card).

Ok na yang fc mo. Best fc ko so far 10km/l lang. Manila-baguio-manila route. Plus konting ikot ikot sa baguio. 7pax yun with baggages. Pag metro manila traffic nasa 5-6km/l lang ako. Tagaytay route naman including tagaytay traffic nakaka 7-8km/l lang ako. Mabigat talaga starex natin. Kaya kahit malakas ang makina niya on paper, on actual driving mukhang adequate lang.

I stand corrected. Class 4 pala ibig kong sabihin, the higher the class the better. Any sd card above 2gb ang tawag na sdhc.

Try reformatting the SDHC card and reinstalling your collection bro.

It does not make sense that a regular flash drive does not have the issue, while your SDHC Class4 exhibits one..... Hhmmmm...
