May neutral ang a/t, pero it's not recommended for use sa coasting. Additional stress sa tranny kasi, when it tries to shift to higher gears from neutral while at high speed.

Kaya naman ng 1.3 ang 5 adults, lalo na manual pa. Might have some difficulty at inclined roads na. To illustrate, yung mga taxi na vios, usually 1.3L yun 85hp / 122nm torque, kaya maski fully loaded. Meanwhile, ang 1.3 jazz nasa 100hp / 127nm torque. Anyway, sa sister nyo naman, try it out
Sabagay, yung current ride ko nga ngayon is Adventure which is 73HP, 144Nm Torque. I doubt naman na nagagamit ko yung full 144Nm nya on normal driving. Naiakyat ko rin naman ng baguio without any problem.

Yung 1.3MT ng sister ko, 18-20km/l yung indicated when I was running at 100kph. I was simply amazed sa tipid nya! And of course, iba yung interior trim level nya. Very upscale compared to other vehicles of different make.

Im almost sold in getting a Jazz after driving my sister's yesterday (1.3MT). But im inclined dun sa 1.5AT since usually puno kami. It's sad na walang MT yung 1.5. My primary concern is FC, but still with enough power to haul 5 adults.
sir 1.3 m/t owner here. kung laging puno ang load mo, mag 1.5 ka na. medyo bitin acceleration ng 1.3 pag puno, lalo na pag bukas ang aircon.

used the jazz again kanina. 3 adults with 3 kids, marikina to tanay rizal. kaya naman nya yung inclines, nakakaovertake pa nga ako sa mga auvs. although may times na parang bitin yung torque, kelangan lang magdownshift. after 84 km of travel, my fc was 13.5km/l, not bad. i even played catch with an old crv on the way down from antipolo.

And you can select high grade oil an filter na di lalampas sa bayad ng pms sa CASA..

    * sir b0y37. Na try ko na GE ko sa NLEX and SCTEX 15-16.5km/l FC nya. Cruising at 100km, minsan di namamalayan nasa 120kph kana. Kaya i'm sticking to 90kph. Me kasama baby sa ride eh.

depende kung saang area ka boss. tama si sir roelrpt if pampanga area, you can go to JD mechanics. Sa south naman, you can go with Bridgestone Alabang and avail their PMS package just bring your own oil and filter. You can also go to Hongly/Pitworkz along Sucat ave.

If QC area naman, i know Speedlab and Honda Spa are reputable shops din. If sa may Sikatuna, MP33

the only known issue i've heard of about the jazz is the taffeta white paint spotting, which is posted somewhere here in tsikot. you can always opt for another color. other than that, it's mechanically sound and reliable
    Thanks sa reply
    And thanks to all.

My Cruze also has manual shifting, but i don't use it so much. Seems like the Jazz is a reliable car. I'll be using it as my everday car around Cavite. Then weekends in Manila. and holidays out of town. I like the 1.5v, but i dont think i'll be needing all those things, except for the fog lights which i find useful. As for the manual shifting...i have it also in the cruze but i rarely find myself using it.
    How's the PMS prices?
Just to compare..for my Cruze it's every 6months or 10k kms whichever comes first.
    1st PMS: 6k
    2nd PMS: 7k
3rd PMS: 14k (changed brake pads, 7k for a pair)
    4th PMS: 7k

My TCM (transmission control module) was replaced a year ago, i didnt have to spend a centavo since it was under warranty, but i saw the price of the item. 70k! I realized, what if this happened after my warranty, could i source the part outside the casa? So, this reason had me thinking on probably switching over to a Japanese car with parts available locally. Other than that, the Cruze is a solid car..but this time I think we need to think about being able to maintain a car after warranty.

KrisKros, seems PMS is slightly cheaper sa Jazz even sa casa by 1k or 2k siguro... schedule is the same, every 6 months or 10k kms... for parts, there should be a lot around in surplus shops nowadays compared to how it was 1-2 years ago so parts shouldnt be a problem... pero no known major issues for the GE so far after being around for more than 4 years... go make that shift already, you'd clearly enjoy driving the Jazz ;)

b0y37, galing nako ng K&N Typhoon, yung short ram intake lang and shifted to CAI... noticeable pa yung gains and performance better pa siguro if i have my car re-tuned... naka optimized kasi setting ko sa short ram, wala pako budget magpa-tune and im still eying some more mods kaya tinitiis ko na lang... may lag kasi minsan pag bigla ko inapakan yung gas you cant go wrong with a CAI, ingat na lang pag binaha

brooom, dapat nasa 3k to 4k lang yan sa mga shops for both na... at least di lalagpas ng 5k

Badtrip talaga yan boss. Kahit ako nadali din. Ang dumi nunv interior namin puro natuyong pintura at rubbing compound tapos dami gasgas sa paint at over spray. Makukuha daw sa wax. /pif Siguro if me paint job man in the future di na ako sa CASA papagawa.

:ouch:
