Ok din yung EFB if you hardly use the car. Mas matagal madischarge. Or if you have a lot of aftermarket electric accessories. AGM is even better but ang laki kasi ng price jump vs EFB so hindi sulit.

AGMs are usually OE for luxury cars like Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc.
Thank you for giving me fresh tidbits to digest! So the EFB is mid level between the more expensive AGM and the regular flooded cell batteries.

Car is matic transmission (no push starts) and the possibility of low battery voltages due to infrequent use (pandemic lockdowns) is real. These 2 factors somehow triggered the planned upgrade to AGM due to its noted voltage retention coupled with its durabilty vs regular batteries.

But then again, your advice re EFB seems the best upgrade alternative since car naman has no start-stop. EFB cheaper than AGM yet retains most of the latter's characteristics.

Again thanks to you, Sir, EFB looks like a winner.

Btw, any ballpark estimates of EFB durability compared to the 3-year ave. life of stock flooded batteries?

    whypo?
    what did you do?
i youtubed, and it looked easy enough.

    my guess is,
    yours wouldn't turn.
maybe you were turning it the wrong way?
if things are stuck, maybe a squirt of wd40 will help vastly?

The 2 holes that are open is for the signal light and reverse. I already removed that. The open socket is the one for the break light but the bulb is not connected directly to that socket. You can see a wire going somewhere. I removed the screws and I don't see anything that can be remove.

Doc, the signal and reverse are the ones that you can twist. In youtube even the break lights is also twist and turn.

Brake light bulbs not break [emoji28]. The one that is circled is where the socket comes in but I think the bulb is in the lower circle. img_20220109_134521.jpg

    Baka LED brake lights?

    LED?
    must be a different design?
today's ordinary LED bulbs are interchangeable with filament bulbs...

does not the car owner's manual mention anything about it?

do you have pictures of that third bulb?

    saaayyy,
are we sure, that rear light assembly is OEM?

Hello Sirs. Does anybody know the normal operating temperature range ng Jazz GE? Mine's the 2013 model.

Nung medyo traffic, nasa 100-103.

    Normal ba to or mataas?

No history of overheat pero recently nagpalit ng radiator fan assembly kasi bumigay and nag change coolant/bleed na din.

Sir, similar din na-experience ko sa 2012 Jazz 1.3. Minsan na-traffic ako, umilaw yung temperature icon sa dashboard pero red color (instead of blue during cold start).

Siguro next mong i-check or palitan yung thermostat and/or radiator cap.

Check the radiator fan motor. It may not be working properly or needs replacement.

i had the same problem with my 1997 sentra.
it was overheating, but i could not find the cause.
i thought my aux fan was fine, as the air volume as measured by my hand, seemed good...
until an old timer mekaniko advised me, "doc, bili ka ng bagong fan motor, and garantisado na mabibigla ka sa diperensya. kung hindi ay ibabalik ko sayo ang pera."
    he was right.

Salamat Sir.

Egan, Doc, kakapalit lang ng fan motor brand new got it from lazada pero mukhang original Honda naman. Itong bago walang problem mag automatic and if measuring by hand malakas yung hangin, pero I'm not really sure if normal speed ito. May way ba para ma-measure ang speed nito?
