pag inclined ang parking, better use handbrake parin kahit naglolock naman ang P dahil ang hirap ishift pag naglock na tapos inclined pa.. Pero pag ang parking is patag naman, i don't use handbrake anymore.

been there done that. started with 3m dark tint sa side, medium windshield and rear, after some time pinabaklas ko din. hirap magdrive sa gabi. sobrang dilim for me. shifted to clear tints all over. will never go back to dark tints. so much easier to drive day or night. mas confident pa ako kasi kita mo talaga lahat.malabo na din kasi mata ko. hehehe

si tatang susulat yung name mo sa index card. they dont use computer to keep track of their customers. yung shop nila lagpas lang ng onti ng mcdo. so far very good sya idol, constant 12.5V when engine off. i use a digital multi meter as the plug in i bought sometimes gives me very very weird reading. mas accurate yung dedicated multi meter i bought from cdr king. mas mura pa. buti pang hindi nako bumili nung plug in. napagastos pako dun. tetest din nila yung stock battery mo idol, kapag nagregister ng <=10v na lang, papalit mo na, on its way to replacement na yan. dont risk it. automatic GE naten mahirap na kapag naipit. si tim ang ginawa, dala lang lagi yung amaron, nung bumigay na battery nya ayun pinalitan. sinagad talaga yung stock battery. hehehe!
another thing good about getting the battery replaced by them is that they do some cleaning. pulido magtrabaho.

mga boss, I don't think we still need to use hand brakes when parking.
This is just my opinion if your car is automatic.

really is the first time that i've heard of this kaya napahanap narin ako sa net. maybe out of habit of using manual tranny

    source: wikipedia
A parking pawl is a device fitted to a motor vehicle's automatic transmission in order for it to lock up the transmission. It is engaged when the transmission shift lever selector is placed in the Park position, which is always the first position (topmost on a column shift, frontmost on a floor shift) in all cars sold in the United States since 1965 (when the order was standardised by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)), and in most other vehicles worldwide.

The parking pawl locks the transmission's output shaft to the transmission casing by engaging a pawl (a pin) that engages in a notched wheel on the shaft, stopping it (and thus the driven wheels) from rotating.

Most vehicle manufacturers and auto mechanics do not recommend using the transmission's parking pawl as the sole means of securing a parked vehicle, instead recommending it should only be engaged after first applying the vehicle's parking brake. Constant use of only the parking pawl, especially when parking on a steep incline, means that driveline components, and transmission internals, are kept constantly under stress, and can cause wear and eventual failure of the parking pawl or transmission linkage. The pawl might also fail or break if the vehicle is pushed with sufficient force, if the parking brake is not firmly engaged. Replacement can be an expensive operation since it generally requires removing the transmission from the car.

Mga Guru, is it possible na magka water leak underneath sa mismong engine bay? hindi po banda sa tube from A/C and radiator ha... Ang alam ko lang kc kapag may leak underneath sa mismong engine bay ay "OIL" lang. na experience ko po lang yesterday afternoon after ko magpa init ng kotse and opened the A/C for 10-15mins then turn off the engine, religously sinisilip ko palagi ung ilalim ng kotse and noticed wala pang water na nag drop from the tube from A/C but there are small water marks (patak patak) underneath the engine bay. pero super konti lang, (ung tipong na absorb na ng simento ung tubig) eh wala ako flash light to check kung saan galing ung tulo. afte 5 mins to get a flashlight dry na yung water marks.hehe! wala po ako makitang wet spot sa engine bay. baka po may mga expert advice or suggestion kung possible magka water leak underneath sa mismong engine bay. Thanks!

*kigz, ohhhace, sabawballs, wink200k, keroroblu, and bayen - Salamat sa mga replies!

Wala pa po yung car, baka maudlot. Hehe. So depende din pala, akala ko may kasamang door visor. Ang mahal din kasi non. Bahala na kung ano mangyari, mahalaga makapaglabas. :D

Actually, that would be my first car. I think I'll go for no tints muna since di ko masyado gamay mag 4 wheels lalo na't brand new pa. I did some research na mas okay may tint dahil sa UV Rays ng Sun at para maprotektahan din ang interior ng sasakyan. Sabi naman ng friend ko pwede naman pa-install yung tints, kasi yung sakanya after 1 year niya pinalagay.

    no problem idol. anytime.

kung makukuha mo freebie yung door visor na clip type, that would be great.

yeah, tint does protect your car from harmful UV rays.
kung papatint mo wag masyado dark. light or medium siguro kaya na if you are availing of the free tint. pero if i were you, i'd just have it tinted outside casa. get something else na lang na same value nung free tint. hehehe!

Lutheran, i was able to get one in Autoline pero that was 3 years ago

vinz0r, go with clear tints... once you go clear, you wont go back to dark tints or kahit may konting shade mas pogi din, ingat na lang sa pagpark and wag mag-iwan ng valuables para di takaw tingin... though minsan, pag kilala ka na and kahit dark tints mo, titirahin pa ren naman kotse mo... ganon ngyari sa bro-in-law ko... naka protective film pa siya other than his dark tints kaya di nabasag yung salamin... ang ginawa, forced open na lang kaya mas malaki damage ng pintuan niya

mga idols, as a good habit, handbrake niyo always car niyo it is a good habit na mag handbrake muna bago i-shift to R then P... kasi may mga times na when you shift it kagad to P then dun kayo mag handbrake after, may konting movements pa minsan yung car and by the time na aalis na kayo ulit, matigas i-shift from P, masama yun sa transmission

boss Bry, mas maganda ba pag silver? plan ko yan ipalit pag due nako ulit, im expecting anytime this year or early next year, need ko na naman magpalit ng battery at normally less than 2 years lang inaabot ng battery ng GE ko, swerte na kung maka 1.5 years

+ 1 on clear tints. mabigat nga lang sa bulsa. hehehe! pero sulit na sulit naman. heat rejection and visible light transmission for the win.
Yup. Mas matibay silver plates. notice also the significant weight difference ng Amaron versus stock vs motolite. high quality talaga and heavy duty. price is lesser than motolite so thats already a win. better value for money if you ask me. heres the spec sheet if you want to go more technical on it.

RC stands for Reserve Capacity and is a very useful industry rating (for consumers) that refers to a battery's ability to maintain low amperage load for the automobile's ignition, lights and other vital electrical equipment should the alternator fail. RC is defined as the number of minutes that a battery can be discharged at 25 amperes until the voltage drops to 1.75 volts per cell or 10.5 terminal volts for a 12-volt battery.

CA stands for Cranking Amperes. This is the load discharged in amperes by which a new fully-charged battery at 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) can continuously deliver for 30 seconds and maintain a terminal voltage equal to or higher than 1.20 volts per cell.

AH stands for Ampere Hour and is a unit of electrical capacity. This tells you how much electrical energy the battery will store. Typically, it is the current multiplied by time in hours. For example, a current of 1 ampere for 1 hour is 1 AH, and a current of 5 amperes for 20 hours is 100 AH. Amp-Hr ratings vary with temperature and rate of discharge. Terms such as 5 or 20-Hour Rate indicate that the battery can be discharged steadily over 5 to 20 hours. The ampere hour capacity is measured by how much it puts out before it reaches 100% depth of discharge.

mas madami kasi choices ng tint sa labas e. you have your solargard, huper optic, nano tech, etc. sa casa kasi 3M lang. nothing against 3M pero mababa kasi heat rejection ng line up nila e. i substitute mo na lang sa ibang freebie item versus the tint. (door visor).
