November 29th, 2014 02:41 AM #131oo nga. sayang lang.. 13th month ko dito lang napunta lahat hoping na magging ok pa. oh well CVT eh.. I was not aware of such issues when the car was endorsed to me by my aunt. sayang pinagwa ko ng aircon.. sana pinambili ko nlng ng tranny.

November 29th, 2014 04:07 PM #133bukas ihahatid ko magina ko sa makati para dun sila stay for the weekdays.. papa check ko dun sa tito namin na mekanik.. pero i doubt it na maisasalba pa. baging tune up, bagong change oil, bagong cvt fluid at bago gawa aircon = lalo lumala tranny. I just hope na umabot pa kami sa bahay nila sa makati from laguna.

On most cars, the radiator and AC condenser are sandwiched together (old Hondas, hindi... the GD, iba na layout... so they're sandwiched na)... since the automatic transmission cooler is usually built into the radiator, turning on the aircon means less cool air gets to the radiator and there's less cooling for the automatic transmission fluid.
One way to counter this is an additional transmission cooler, placed in front of the AC condenser.

December 5th, 2014 03:30 PM #140ahh kaya pala. that explains it. another flaw sa design ng GD? so kahit palit tranny, with the ac on ganun padin? so if radiator is damaged, then possible affected rin cvt tranny kasi madali mag iinit.
Not yet..... I'm still consolidating those quotations as different dealers gave different discount...
