    Not specific to the GD. Almost all cars nowadays share the same packaging issue. You will only really notice it, however, on a new car if it has an undersized radiator and marginally specced fans.

    Nashimoto nagreply na pala ako sa PM mo. CVT ko na surplus buhay pa din hanggang ngayon.
    Basta pag nagpalit na kayo, wag nyo na gamitin yung 7 speed mode. I know masarap siya gamitin kasi "parang" mas malakas hatak, pero ang totoo dun, malakas ang rev tapos di mo minsan namamalayan nasa red line na pala rpm mo.

    ginagamit ko for short distance. yung tito ko mekanik may ginawa sa sparkplugs socket ayun hindi na nagwawala tranny.. as in tumahimik kahit idle.. pero ramdam ko parin yung topak ng tranny. will not be using the car for sometime until maka ipon ako pambili new tranny.. mahirap na.

    thanks sa reply bro.. appreciate your inputs. sakit sa ulo ng CVT ng honda.. sobra na stress level ko. payat na nga ako.. lalo pko pumapayat kaka isip.

    Sir wezz_zzew, i learned na twice ka nagpalit cvt trans una kay mel then nasira ulet and then 2nd somewehere in banawe, tanong ko lang san mismo sa banawe ano name ng shop saka howmuch dun sa banawe at gano katagal replacement ng cvt surplus transmission...tsaka pala gano mo na katagal ginagamit yun 2nd transmission mo .....salamat

    we almost had the same experience with my brothers jazz gd. rried to change cvt couple of times and we even had it for dialysis. wala din nangyari at bumabalik problem. ended up getting a surplus tranny at isahaya banawe. dun narin install.

    just used my car recently kaht hindi pa napapalitan trany.. 4x times tumirik! nung una ok pa.. pero nung traffik dun ko napansin na nagloloko nnmn sya from idle and stop and go. nag blink nnman yung "D" and check engine light is on. katakot.. buti umaandar pa after restarting the car!

    2010 Honda City sedans have a completely different automatic transmission. It's a standard five-gear automatic with torque converter. The older models were continuously variable transmissions with a starter clutch instead of a torque converter. 2014 and up Honda City sedans use a CVT, also, but with a torque converter for better durability.
