^^^ lurking always on this thread... guess it's high time to dispose my 04 city while she's still running "fine" (odo reading is almost 115k). did experience once na parang nag slide yung tranny while doing reverse, though after changing the cvvt fluid the smooth shifting was restored & gone with the sliding tranny feeling.
nakakapang hihinayang din kasi... sarap gamitin yung 7-speed mode feature nyabtw, got mine as second hand also.

scary stories
our 2005 1.3 idsi jazz has yet to show symptoms like that. hopefully it doesn't manifest those in the future because it's quite a spacious and spiffy car compared to the ek vti and fd 2.0 s-l we have. nagiging workhorse nga namin 'to actually

^^^ Yes, they are bro. IMO, the Jazz CVT is one surreal drive. Wifey agrees with me on this.
Sold our Jazz CVT last Feb2010, with (only) almost 20KKm mileage, and without any hint of any of the issues stated above... I am just thinking that it must be in the way you drive the car....

At first kala ko kulang lang sa CVTF ung tranny kc pag lipat ko sa reverse meron konting "trrrrrrr" pero pag nakaatras ka na, nawawala naman. We were in Antipolo nung time na naramdaman kong hirap na umaabante. RPM ko that time is 5000 tapos takbo ko 30kph. nung dinagdagan ko ng CVTF balik sa normal then one day bigla na lang nawala ung abante. Tried adding more CVTF but to no avail. Until now Im still looking for a mechanic na meron nang experience sa ganitong sira. Yung iba kc nagmamarunong lang. If meron po kayong marerecommend malaking tulong yun. Salamat.

I bought the CVTF sa Honda mismo.
Salamat.
Still planning to buy another Honda in future pero baka magmanual tranny na lang ako. Mejo masakit talaga sa bulsa pag maintain ng matic.
