woohoo! got my unit yesterday. =)
by the way, question guys, sorry, newbie lang. how will i know if the car alarm is activated? we've tried last night to lock the car and me (holding the keyless) is positioned far from the car while my GF tried to open the door. but the car did not alarm? help on this please. thank you.
Ask lang mga sirs. Pinapacarwash nyo pa ba sa casa yung car during pms?
I heard stories kasi na dun pa mismo nagkakaswirl marks yung paint eh.kasi di daw maganda yung ginagamit nila na pamunas.
Thanks.
Congrats!
Did the door open? If not, then your car alarm works. Wala pa kong naging kotse na tutunog yung alarm pag sinubukang buksan from the outside nang nakalock yung car.
Usual causes for the alarm to go off is strong vibration (e.g. binangga ka, binasag bintana, etc) or loud noises. More frequently, it's triggered when someone's inside the car but you go out and lock the car. Then that someone who's inside opens the door while it's locked by the alarm, ayun that will trigger it.

Yes completely normal across all automatic cars. That's because your engine is trying to move forward because you're in D, while you still have your foot partly on the brakes. So nagkokontrahan sila, hence the aparador sound you describe.
If you press firmly on the brake or let go of it completely, mawawala yung sound as the car either stops completely or moves forward.

Ako sinabihan ko na ayoko pa car wash, pero kinarwash parin. Ayun swirls haha. Iniipon ko nalang muna, then after 6 months or 1 year pa detail ko nalang yung sasakyan.

Then malayo yung key from the car, tapos pag binuksan ng tao sa loob yung driver's door. Magaalarm yan.
Kasi na-open yung sasakyan pero wala sa vicinity yung key.
Hi guys, just got interior pics of my 1.8 LE. This is an analog speedometer right?

Did you order an LE? Pacancel mo nalang and get a regular 1.8E.
BTW, when I was at the dealership, 2 SAs were observing the LE also. They had a leaflet on hand with the supposed changes - ang nakalagay lang dun is the Modulo kit and the Navi head unit.
I tried pointing out all the missing features of the LE but they just stared at me with blank faces, as if I were speaking a different language. So no surprise that they couldn't see all the deletions in the LE.
Remember, most car salesmen are not car enthusiasts.

This is exactly what I'm calling out Honda for. They intentionally made those representations to their sales network in the hopes of hoodwinking potential customers who don't know better. I had expected HCPI to have gone about this in a better way. They had a leaflet on hand with the supposed changes - ang nakalagay lang dun is the Modulo kit and the Navi head unit.
While the removal of the ports and tweeters (and we don't know what else, maybe even the liquid-filled suspension bushings) are truly lamentable, the analog tach, simplified information cluster and infotainment system may not be such a negative since Honda has received many complaints about the infotainment display as being unnecessarily complicated, fiddly and inadequate - notably the absence of aircon and volume knobs and the questionable functionality of the steering-mounted volume slider. The geeks may love it but I can understand why those that are not so tech-inclined may hate it. I don't think it's cost-cutting too since a mechanical/analog tach assembly with an embedded TFT LCD assembly is probably more expensive to manufacture compared to a fully digital one that's comprised of a single color LCD panel.
I suppose it is what it is but at least people have a choice if they see beyond the smokescreen.
There is still no volume knob with the LE's head unit. The regular 1.8E also has physical aircon knobs. You can disable the volume slider on the steering wheel for the 1.8E.
I've been inside both the LE and 1.8E and the LE is really a downgrade compared to the 1.8E. The LE is just as clunky, even worse actually because the head unit isn't native to the car so system adjustments are harder.
The only upside is that the LE's head unit is slightly more responsive than the 1.8E/RS head unit.

From what I understand from the YT interview of one of the civic x engineer, all civic x model have front liquid filed bushings.
For all civic equipped with 1.5 turbo, they also installed liquid filled bushings at the rear suspension for added sportiness.
I assume, regular rubber bushes at the rear for non turbo(1.8 and 2.0 on overseas model.)
