Like what most peeps are saying, we mean no offense, just stating our opinion on the matter, you're not fishing for validation naman of your color choice di ba so you should be open to criticisms.
Offensive talaga kasi sa mata sir un combination no matter in which angle you take it. Parang nabangga un civic and you just had to change the skirts last minute of whatever that is available.
Siguro tawa ng tawa yung pinagpagawaan mo after mo umalis nung shop. It's bordering on jologs or just plain confused.

I hope the second picture is the last what I see here bcoz kung may nakakasulasok sa paningin, yan na yun.

BTW, the reviews of Civic Type R in the US are up, and they all think it's awesome! It is only $34k USD there, limited to only 2,000 units, but the price in PH per SA during the last car show was 2.8 million.

In real life, it does match the red of the taillight.

The Civic isn't offered with analog gauges anywhere in the world so it's impossible that the Civic LE will have analog gauges.

The biggest changes are the addition of Navi and the exterior add-ons (ducktail and visors).

Also, if you want your Civic in black or royal blue, you have to get the LE as the colors are exclusive to that variant.

For me, I don't think I would be changing anything on my civic except for the functional ones. The civic looks stunning as it is. I'll be installing two modulo products - visor and side step garnish. Visor - if you slightly open the windows during rainy days in order to reduce window fogs, at least you won't get wet. Side step - saves you from forever cleaning the sides especially on a Burgundy Night Pearl. It helps protect from scratches as well.

I'm considering the trunk tray, but, I couldn't really think of anything of its practicality. Maybe, I'll vacuum less? lol.

I agree with you sir..I am more for function rather than looks. Besides, this new Civic is already a stunner kahit bare bones sya. Some of us can really go overboard personalizing and customizing.

Just to add panache, my wishlist naman for my upcoming 1.8E WOP in external looks;

1. RS alloy wheels
2. Piano black grille, chrome emblem.
3. Decent tail pipe finisher, dual ports
4. Decklid spoiler (Modulo design) no drill type
5. Sharksfin dummy antenna (ala lang)
6. Replace foglight halogen bulbs with LED
7. Chrome covers for door handles
8. Piano black accent sa doors like RS
9. Mudguards (color key)

Interior naman, where I will be spending most of my time;

1. Leather stitched seat cover with carbon fiber accents, like RS (found one in Taobao)
2. Leather stitched door sidings (sa Taobao din) easy non destructive DIY installation
3. Leather stitched center console and leather wrap steering wheel, DIY installation
4. OEM trunk lid cover

China has lots of decent accessories for the Honda Civic...one to sawa check Taobao.

Admittedly my mods are aesthetic in nature - 18" rims, piano black grille. The only functional mods I have are my dashcam and upgraded horns.

I find the stock wheels of the Civic too small for such a huge body, even the 17" RS rims. My 2004 Mazda 3 had 17s and it's a much smaller car. The Civic looks much better with 18s IMO.

Those are just my wishlist..and my first time to customize a car. Cars that I own, FD and an SiR, I kept it stock.

Yes, personalization, which is aesthetic and is the same reason that everyone else mods their car. 😉

I had the stock 16s for a few days before upgrading to 18s. Road imperfections are more pronounced, but not to the point that the ride has become uncomfortable.

It also doesn't impact the suspension negatively since you have the same overall circumference anyway. I had 18s on my old car before (from stock 16s as well) and didn't need to prematurely replace any suspension bits even after 50,000 km.

The only advantage I see with the RS rims is that OEM wheels are usually more durable than aftermarket ones. But it does look very ordinary, especially since there are so many RS Civics.

I almost pulled the trigger on a set of RS rims when I was having difficulty finding 18s that would go well with the Civic. I looked a bit harder and eventually found a set to my liking.

At first, it was a big improvement from my FB Civic which had the worst speakers across all cars I've had. However, I realized it's not as good as the Altis' stock speakers, and a far cry from Ford's excellent stock sound system.

Is the Civic HU subwoofer-ready? I'm thinking an under-seat sub would be a a cheap but noticeable upgrade.

It should be. The Touring has a stock subwoofer, and the I think the head units are the same.

You really don't need to mess with the HU, though. I just tapped into the existing wires. The amplifiers + underseat sub I bought had speaker-level inputs which made installation very easy.

I opted for Infinity Kappa 6.5" seps for the front (fits the woofer and tweeter holes) and Infinity Reference 6.5" seps for the rear (also fits the rear deck cutouts) powered by JBL amps, then a Kenwood underseat active sub. Pretty satisfied with the sound now. Nothing window-rattling, but very clear, crisp sound with a decent low-end.

The Kenwood sub is 11.5K, Infinity Kappas at 9K, Inifinity Reference at 6K, JBL 4-channel subs at 8K each (I got 2, since the front has 4 channels). Plus 2K at Honda Pangasinan for the install. I got all the items from Lazada since I'm too lazy to shop around.

All told, less than 50K. You could check for speaker compatibility (as far as the cutouts are concerned) at Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, Pro Audio, 4k TV - I selected the Touring since I saw the subwoofer cutout on the rear deck of the car.

The Civics with analog tachs also don't have the full-color screen below the speedo - it's an old-school info display without the fancy visuals. The nice thing about the low-tech MID is that it shows both average speed and average consumption at the same time, whereas you have to switch between 2 menus with the digital one (like what we have in local Civics) if you want to see avg speed and avg FC.

The RS is really an understated beast. Stock WHP is much higher than published BHP suggests. The CVT limits its tuning potential though, but I think 250+ whp is more than enough if you just want to outrun sub-2M sports cars.

I used to think the RS was overpriced since it only has 30 extra hp on paper, but when I drove one, it was a completely different animal compared to the 1.8 when floored. Not to say the 1.8 is underpowered (it really isn't, even with 5 on board, thank the CVT for good power delivery), but the 1.5 turbo just has so much grunt to offer.

So going for the underseat subs alone without the amp and seps won't offer a substantial improvement?

The speakers aren't the best, but personally not too much of an inconvenience to spend 50k just to rectify it.

Hmm.. Do you think Sir Tann's info is correct for the 1.8 limited? They cost cut here and there(cheaper gauges and what not) to compensate for the more expensive paint job, navigation, etc...? Kinda reminds me of Ranger FX2...
