pa blotter mo muna sa brgy yung incident na hinabol ka ng aso. try to provide a video as well for evidence.
next time it happens na nandun ka sa harap ng property mo. you can now defend yourself. sana nga lang huwag mong i-injure masyado o mapatay yung dog if it chases you again.

i remember the time dogs chased my scoot when i was coming home. i turned back and charged at them with my horns fully blasting at them. that scared the dog and got the owner's attention.

my neighbor's dont really live there and arrive at unknown times so it's hard to show them personally. the only thing i could do is strap a video recorder on me so whenever i go outside, i could capture it doing it.

i'm also fearing of hitting it that if i do hit the dog, it might anger it and attack me.
Parang i smell something fishy about this. Hindi dun nakatira, maid lang ang nasa bahay, hindi nakatali ang aso to roam around and scare away people. The house/dog owner don't care about the dog's craziness. Di kaya there is something illegal happening somewhere? Sorry OT just my 2 cents...

Nope, sometimes they do work. Though other times, the dog enjoys it. In those cases, trainers recommend adding a little vinegar to give the spray/squirt a little sting.

Takot lang yung TS sa aso.

Better talk to the owners rather than shoot or kill the dog. O baka takot rin makipag-usap si TS sa may-ari dahil yan ang pinapalabas dito sa thread.

Go to True Value, buy some Pepper Spray, use it on the next encounter, report results here.

An airsoft gun might just enrage the dog to attack. If so, what would you do?... fire more plastic pellets?

Maybe concentrated chili oil in denatured alcohol would work better? (anarchist black book; homemade tear gas). Harmless physically but painful to the eyes and nose (if inhaled). It would impair the dog's vision for a while too. I don't think the dog would forget that lesson for the rest of it's life.

pepper spray na lang nga talaga, cheap pa. also pag na-sprayan na yung dog the dog's natural tendency is to lick itself, lalo na pag mahapdi na sa skin. ang anghang, ang sarap hehehehe!

In my opinion, that is what you have to do.

Remember it is not the dog's fault, it's natural for the dog to protect it's "territory". And it's the responsibility of it's human masters to correct this instint. The law is there, there are people who should be enforcing the law. Make them do their job.

Hope this will be resolved soonest. Stay safe..

Just whack the dog with a baseball bat (or any hard object like a pipe, etc) everytime he charges towards you. Make sure you hit him hard to instill in him that you dont fear him & that you are the alpha male. He will get your message in a canine way.... Your neighbors will surely get mad but will realize later they will do they same given the same situation...

if the dog is not registered and have a license tag, it is not legal for it to be in public places unless properly contained or restrained by its owner or handler. if you kill it as a result of self defense, it is perfectly befitting. it changes the situation if the dog is a working K9 dog, has a badge and in performance of its duty with its handler, it will be a crime punishable by law as if you killed or assaulted a police officer while doing his duty. in this case, the owner can get pissed off or pissed on, throw a fit all his little heart so desires if you kill the dog in defense of yourself or your loved ones. the dog does not have the same rights and priveleges as the humans although some people have no respect for other humans around him making him a dog just the same
