Nasa Mindanao daw ngayon bro yung mga demo units, tried ford alabang, makati, sta rosa, edsa greenhills, naka daan na daw sa kanila yung demo units. Gusto ko din sya makita in person, but still no luck

In other countries maybe, but defeating Toyota in the Philippines is like McDo outselling Jollibee.
But if the Everest can actually outsell the Fortuner and the Montero Sport locally, I would gladly welcome it. Besides, who wouldn't want to see a closely battled top position between 3 contenders (Toyota, Mitsubishi, and Ford). This would definitely favor the car buyers.

Ford Ranger was the best seller in 2014, so yes it's possible, for a year.

If Ford decides not to play the market share game & play the make-as-much-profit game instead, I say let them. And if it turns out that it will make their products turn pricier but includes a package of features & that undefinable feeling of quality when you're in their car, then I'll scrimp, save & borrow to get one.
