Personally, I need a 4x4, not just because my work brings me to do site trippings on yet to be developed subdivisions. I also need it because I might encounter a situation where I need the 4x4. Mahirap magsisi sa bandang huli

Yup, meron talaga gaya natin na even though almost all of our driving is on tarmac there are times we need to go where there is mud. I remember when i did not have a 4x4 i took my 4x2 sorento up the mountains of umingan and there were even muddy stretches. The only reason i pushed through was i was with a 4x4 suzuki vitara that had a winch.

Ako din naman 3 out of 4 cars ko 4x4 or AWD. la lang no big deal for me. Does not justify the 200k up price difference in 4x2. people should be informed that 4x4 sucks in pavement driving, it's heavy.

And if 360 days out of 365 days of your driving does not require 4 wheels, yun ano ba yun tawag sa ilalim yun nag-connect sa differential sa likod, umiingay or gets stuck somehow, parang nag-rust or something.

At isa pa. There are fluids to maintain pa sa ilalim coz of the 4x4 assembly, depending on model. Imagine a social climber top of the trim buyer, not knowing these, and pag na-miss ang schedule ng chsnge fluid, yare. Usually thse fluids are due after casa warranty

With the pending floods(dry season usually means wet and wild afterwards) I really want a 4x4 with real 800mm wading capability... wish their 100k optional package is free hahahha. Sarap mag drive without worry. Diesel power too. 600nm with racechip or dpchip 😊

And your opinion matters to me and yebo? If I were you OB, just keep your thoughts to yourself. Hayaan mo na mga tao dito sa tsikot to buy whatever car or variant of the car they want. It's our money, not yours. Wala kang pake dapat kung ano gusto naming bilhin dahil hard earned money namin yun, not yours.

imagine submerging all those feaures, tpms, brake hill assist mechanism, daytime led running lights, automatic rear door etc

Stop playing in your minds that scene wherein you are cruising along a 4x4 in a flooded street where every body else looks in envy.

Chances are when you get freak rain flood plus so many people stuck with you land a tsunami like 6 feet water rushing, you'll abandon your big flashy Suv with 500k worth of accessories

It's like using Louis Vutton bag to preserve your food iif you got stuck for days in freak storm in Mt. Everest

Yebs, that's the problem., yan dependency sa insurance. All these multinational insurance conglomerates will just partner with a company with a weather modification satellite device like what the Chinese attempted in Beijing plympics. Then raise the insurance premiums in your cars then they increase the frequency of freak storms, then they bribe govt officals to install substsndard infrastructure to push up again the inusrance premiums

So yun the illusion of secuirty and control will be how high the premiums will be ...

So ano ang panlaban mo sa mga evil and greedy corporations na ito na well connected, eh di just buy a Ambiente Ford Everest

    Yebs,

China creates 55 billion tons of artificial rain a year—and it plans to quintuple that - Quartz

China has been modifying their rainfall since the Olympics. Yan nga ang biggest threat nila sa South China Sea, they can modify weather

OB, cloud seeding is already being done worldwide. Kahit dito sa atin when the water levels at the dams are at a critically low level. Pero as a tool for insurance companies to milk money from the motoring public, that's just a figment of your imagination.
