Just wondering... dont you dealers earn already from the plant/supplier? I suppose, their list price already includes your cut and everything. The list price is what is expected of the buyer to pay, isnt it?

Law of supply and demand. Cant reasonably expect to pay list price for a hot limited supply item. When supply meets demand thats when prices will equalize. When supply exceeds demand thats when we get the discounts and promos. Rinse and repeat.
It's just like when new iPhones are released. Some are even willing to pay 150%+++ just to be the first few to have it.
Im considering New Everest pero pag may DI... hindi na mag intay nalang ako mag released ang ibang brand with the same specs and features
Looks bare, but if paired with a good color (not red, maybe grey), it actually looks macho and has that rugged appeal.
^agree. but looks way way much better in the aesthetic department than its older model
I suppose Ford wanted to keep prices within relatively manageable levels, but this has resulted in the base model looking really bare. There isnt a touch-screen HU unlike its older rivals, no fender flares, and not even stepboards (climbing into and out of the base model was difficult, and Im a relatively tall guy).
Still, it looks really good. I wont be surprised if manufacturers of accessories make loads from future owners.

Was talking to our SA at Ford Global City yesterday when I picked up the Mustang. They are not asking for any additional DI. In order to be prioritized, Ford Global City has packaged their in house insurance for 2015 Everest buyers
pareho ba ito ng 3.2 engine ng wikdtrak?... baka kase pag binili ka mahal mahal sira din ang turbo...tsk..tsk...tsk...
Both are upgraded. The 2.2 changed its turbocharger, the 3.2 changed its EGR system. Kindly check the press release of Ford Asia Pacific.
Only the 2.2 had an increase in power and torque. 3.2 remained the same but more fuel efficient and hopefully no more turbo issues due to new EGR system.
By the way, at Ford Global City, the variant with the most number of reservations is the 2.2 Titanium 4x2 A/T, with the 2.2 Trend 4x2 A/T coming at close second. And as I've said, they don't ask for additional DIs as they've packaged their in house insurance with 0% participation fee to the Everest. If you won't get the in house insurance, you won't be prioritized. That holds true for Ford Manila as well as it is a sister dealership of Ford Global City. Reservation is also refundable

Which is just right given that the participation fee is 0%. I availed their in house insurance for my Mustang for hassle free claiming and 0% participation fee even though it's very expensive. Mind you the additional DI is still more expensive than the in house insurance of Ford BGC
