Mga Bossing, has anyone performed Under Chassis Rust Proofing with their new Everest?

Isn't our new units rust proofed already from the factory?

During my 10k PMS, I was advised that the unit needs rust proofing pa daw.

Some joints daw are not treated as per Ford Manila Bay.

Underchassis rustproofing is just a scheme to make more money ... If dealer claims that some joints were not treated properly, then tell them you will claim under warranty and have them rust proof it for free ... Ford Everest is supposed to be rated to ford 800 mm floods ...

Hi. We are in the market for a new family SUV. After a lot of test drives and research, we finally decided to get the everest . Our problem now is wala pang available na unit for the 2017 3.2 Titanium+. I've called several dealerships and they can only give me either a 2017 2.2 Titanium+ or a 2016 3.2 Titanium+. My questions is worth it ba hintayin yung 2017 na 3.2? AFAIK, the only upgrade they made are the HU(Sync3) and black leather seats. Are these two changes worth the wait? TIA!

The black leather alone is worth it. It's really hard to maintain a beige interior. [emoji29]

they are just trying to sell you their old inventory. insist on getting what you want. and do tell your sales agent you will go to another dealer if they can't deliver.

yes, its worth the wait. baka sumama lang loob mo pagkakuha mo ng 2016 then saka ilabas yung 2017. madalas gawin yan ng mga SA yan para maubos muna stock nila...

Pag naka sync 2 ka ba (eve trend) pwede mag upgrade to sync 3? Or kailangan pa paltan yung buong system?

Thank you for the inputs. We will just settle with the 2016 model. We got a deal that is too good to resist. I still want the sync3 head unit. But I think it is a compromise we can live with.

I'm a new owner of a 2016 Ford Everest Trend...approximately 12 days old pa lang sa akin yung unit. Just want to ask if there's auto dimming function of the instrument panel in our everest?..The reason i ask is bec. about 6 days ago, around 5pm, my instrument panel suddenly dimmed, and the dimmer adjustment switch disabled. But the next morning it's back to bright. Yesterday it happened again, curiously it happened around the same time as before, about 5pm. Any thoughts on this?...thanks

If you have an automatic headlamp and it turns on, the dash lights dim a little bit. You can try that by manually turning on the headlights manually and see if the dash lights dim a little.

So nangyayari din sa inyo yun?...Medyo kinabahan kasi ako nung nangyari yun, akala ko may defect na agad sa bagong unit ko. Wala kasi binabanggit yung Ford manual tungkol sa auto-dim feature ng instrument panel eh. Thanks for replying sir gomez

Yes, pwede mo dn adjust brightness nyan, kasi pag di yan mag auto dim, pag maliwanag za umaga, medyo masakit sa mata sa gabi pag sobrang liawanag, enjoy your new toy, tc always
