huwag mong gawin na deciding factor ang navigation kasi celphone lang ang katapat nun. download ka lang ng waze or sygic sa celphone mo mas maganda pa at may traffic updates pa. ang navigation na built in walang traffic updates. ang waze updated pa ang map lagi. ang sygic pro naman €29 lang (free yung regular sygic) better than waze kasi di need ng broadband connection to work, perpetual map update din. kung trip mo download mo sa ipad laki pa ng screen mo.

di ka ibibitin ng 2.2 na eve. 160 hp is kore than enough for the trend loaded with 7 pax and luggage. feel ko nga mas mabagal ang 3.2 kasi mabigat yung 4x4 nya.

Sinabi rin ng agent sa wife ko sir ang frequency ng PMS w/c is every 6 months/10000km estimated cost is 20k yearly. Bakit kasi walang navigation ang kaya ng budget ko. Samantalang sa MUX meron, sapol na sana.

Tapos medyo worried lang ako sa displacement na 2.2L, hindi ba xa maliit sa ganun kalaking sasakyan? Unang sasakyan namin is Mazda B2200, para bang bumalik lang ako sa dating maliit na makina. Well sa tingin ko mas balance yung 2.2L in terms of Power to FC ratio. Kung almost highway and city driving and walang balak mag true-offroading, 2.2L is fine IMO. Trend model here, di ka mabibitin sa arangkadahan, and di ka basta basta mabalaho sa baha incase man, kasi nga 800mm ang wading depth po ang Eve natin.

After a year and 8 months with the trend, 11.5 kpl mixed highway/city driving (using trip comp and not full tank to full tank method) and around php12k/ per 10k kms for oil, oil/air filter change which can be lessened pa.

malakas talaga yung 2.2... lately i was using my trail ltz... running at 140kph.. May Ambiente, past me... i tried to catch up... pero to no avail... nag 180kph na ako.. parang hindi nagbabago distance namin... mukhang super charged yung driver ng ambiente..

Sarap talaga minsan magpatakbo ng ganun ka bilis sa pinas, dito sa China ganda nga mga expressways kasi 3-4lanes, yun nga lang, you're limited to 120 kph and it depends pa kng saan area, some area are limited to 90-100kph lng and ang daming speed cameras pa, pagnahuli ka lagpas ng 40-50% sa allowable speed limit, patay driving license mo.

mas mabilis talaga ang ambiente/trend/titanium 2.2 kesa sa titanium 3.2. yung additional 40 hp ng 3.2 napunta lang sa losses sa full time awd system at additional weight ng 4x4 drive train. 400 kg difference eh, para kang may 8 sacks of rice sa likod.

tempted na nga ako mag-chip kahit additional 30 hp lang ng mapakinabangan naman yung extra 1000 cc ng 3.2 engine.

Don't chip it ... not good experience ... the AT transmission will eventually have problems if it can't handle the extra torque ...

May sinubukan din ako iwanan na 2.2 sa tplex pero kayang kaya ako sabayan hehe. Tempted din ako pa install unichip sa speedlab pero naghihintay pa ko ng sample unit. Yung sample kasi nila is ranger with 40hp increase. Duda kasi ako na same sa eve natin since AWD tayo.

Sa PMS and parts naman, di naman tayo nagkakalayo with other brands. Nasa diskarte na rin ng owner yan. Basta casa price, siguradong mahal. Try to join their FB groups, ang dami rin umiiyak sa mahal ng parts. Madalas di pa claimable sa warranty.

OT: Sa FC ko medyo nagulat ako after my first PMS. I'm getting a consistent 11++kpl with my 3.2. This is provincial driving with heavy traffic. I don't know what they did but I'm happy from 7-8kpl to 11 hehe.

I did go to protect for a Re mapped.. addl. 25whp daw sa 3.2... but wala pa daw sila software to upgrade my 2017 ECU... iba na daw ECU ng 2017.... mag limo mode lang daw....

The 6R80 tranny found in eve/ranger is actually the same tranny used in F150s, expeditions and even the latest model 2018, 450HP 5.0 v8 mustang.

That's the same reason why eve/ranger can tow 3T with more room to spare. 200HP or say 250HP(with modded engine parts) is a walk in the park for this tranny.

Yes sir. Unless you'll go full blown 20 laps sa racetrack or tatalunin mo time record from manila to baguio, or you tow 3.5Tons daily, it should be fine. Some will put or advice you to install tranny oil coolers and thermostat for added safety pero I found it overkill lalo na if short burst of speed or overtake lang gagawin mo.
