    hello fello owners ng everest. madalang na ang post dito ah. share ko lang positive experience ko sa ford commonwealth. dinala ko unit ko dahil sa squealing brake. medyo nakakairita kasi. they checked and resurfaced the brake pads for free. gulat lang ako na free kasi halos 1 hour din ginawa. its a positive sign na may changes sa aftersales nila.

    but im surprised baket brake pads ang ni-surface, are you sure brake pads or was it the brake rotors?

    yes brake pads meron daw kasi part na matulis niliha lang siguro. i specifically asked kung walang problem sa rotors wala naman daw. nakita ko rin yung isang bisor na dinedemo sa technician yung lapat ng pads at nagbigay ng instruction.

    Add ko sa positive after-sales ng ford. Accidentally broke my sunglass/eyeglass holder (yun nasa taas ng rearview mirror), showed it sa SA during my 60k pms. Kinunan niya pic then sabi try niya ipasok sa warranty. After about a week tinawagan ako ng customer relations sabi approved na under warranty and available na yun part. Scheduled for replacement na bukas, free of charge pati labor. Yey

    If will cost much higher like engine or transmission problems will they replace it?

    FORD EVEREST RECALLL:

    Received a letter from FORD today, says that incorrect power train control module PCM software may lead to premature glow plug failure. Glow plug failure may result in symptoms including difficult/no start, noisy/harsh idle, reduced engine power and qn illuminated malfunction indicator light (MIL).

    Does this require immediate action/repair/upgrade? my unit is 2017 trend. Thank you.

    Yung sa toyota jerking sa transmission nafix naman sa software update. I think ganun din yan it will take 1-2 hours lang sa casa ok na [emoji106]

    Just had my pms last thursday, SA did not mention about the software upgrade to correct power of PCM for glow plug. I did not see it on the job order as well. My unit is also 2017. Does this affect all 2017 model or just a certain batch?

    Best call customer service or service to check which Chassis/Engines are affected. Usually by batch yun.

    Kung walang letter baka hindi kasama. Unless you bring it up with your service advisor.

    Pag nagpa-pms ba pwede magpa-indicate ng "low mileage"? First pms 6mos/10K wala pang 2K tinakbo kasi eh. Baka mmya sabihin ni-tamper ung odo if ever we decide to sell it down the line.

    And also ma-void ba warranty if ever sinabi namin na dont change the air filter muna? Oil change lang gagawin? Or kailangan sundin ung PMS nila to the "T"?

    think not all vehicles are affected. I asked my SA regarding this letter, sabi nya based sa VIN ko.. wala daw patawag sa akin.. try ko ulit pag nag pa PMS ako..
