hi all gusto ko lang sana mg tanong about ford everest cuz im planning to get also, nka pag reserve na ako. gusto ko lang malaman ung mga feedback about sa everest like maintenance cost, parts, hindi bah madaling masira. dami kasi bad feedback sabi mahal dw kaya confused na ako hehe 2nd option ko is fortuner. kasi low cost maintenance dw and mura lang parts and kahit saan meron unlike ford. for u po fortuner or everest? in the long run what will u choose? comments are very much appreciated, maraming salamat.
sana sir dun ka nagtanong sa kabilang thread dun sa Battle of SUVs. kasi pag dito obviously sasabihin namin sa 'yo to get the Everest.
but anyway, most of us probably had been in your situation before when we were looking for a new SUV. of course we considered all our options, and we ended up buying the Everest. depende naman sir what ticks your boxes. pasok ba sa taste mo ang looks, price, features, etc. while one brand cannot satisfy all of these, look for the one that will satisfy you most. learn to compromise on other things. know what's important to you and what you can let go of. and always do a test drive of each of your options. isama mo na pati montero, trailblazer at mu-x.
when it comes to parts availability and maintenance, di ko pa masabi kasi this model is quite new pa din. but since the Everest is the second most bought SUV and Ford the third largest car company in the country now, it's only logical that parts will be relatively readily available now. mas mataas na ang demand sa parts eh. also take note that Ford do PMS every 10,000km so you might consider that in calculating the maintenance cost. yung iba yata is every 5,000km pa.
If I may suggest, go for a test drive. IMHO yung Fort and Monty is all new model, which means mga bago din po mga parts. So meaning mapa ford or fort ang kukunin mo same issue for spare parts sa ngayon. Yung fort is having a new engine also, which mean di pa natin masasabi na reliable nga. Sa Eve, same sila ng engine ng new ranger which is tested na walang issue. How about PMS, sa Eve every 10K or 6 months while the Fort every 5K if you're using ordinary oil, 10K or 6 months kung FS oil ang gamit.
Ford spare part are all original, not like toyota madami kang mabibili na fake, at kapag fake alam mo na madali din masira.
Check mo rin to.

So all in all, maganda naman lahat, kahit anong model kunin mo. Pero kung ako ang mamimili between the two SUV. Sa Eve ako.

Hi sir yebo, thanks for the info, will drop by to know more on their offer on their dye,
By the way, may i ask also sir. How is the ride quality of nitto 275 tires from 265? Is there a big difference? Is it still as refined as the original tires? Thanks!

^ Only normal that it'll increase ride height. People worried about the speedometer difference shouldn't panic -- it's too small to be noticed in everyday driving.

So I revisited the Everest and.... you know what, I'll throw in the towel. This has better NVH insulation than a Toyota LC200. If only they can mute the growl of the engine on acceleration pushes, I'd say they can give Euro diesels a run for its money.
It's not really the NVH insulation, more like the function of the Active Noise Control.
yes by about 3/4 inch.
Trade in of oem tires, those were china bf goodrich so all 4 went for only 13k. It will depend where your oem tires came from. Natapat sa akin made in china e.
Regarding the speedometer reading, it has actually become more accurate. Whereas before there was a minus 5-6 kph error at 100-120 kph (reading is more than actual) now it is almost on the money. The 4% bigger diameter compensated fir the error in the speedometer. Halos parehas na sila ng reading ng gps.

I agree with jhnkvn...IMHO Panel insulation and engine mount/isolators are really good on this SUV. Active Noise Cancelling is not the sole contributor for this NVH of Eve, ANC only handles certain frequency to cancel out but it cannot arrest the harshness and vibration of the car. Harshness and vibration can be only address by proper Isolations and dampening materials. I haven't really confirm this but I read somewhere that Eve uses a liquid filled engine mount to isolate the Chassis to the engine shakes and vibration.
Thanks sir yebo, would probably consider changing tires,
In terms of smoothness, would nitto do the job well? I dont know if its true, correct me if im wrong, But some says tires varies on some being less tire noise than the others?
I wonder if adding more insulation in the hood lessen the growl of the everest? [emoji2]
