I bought Ecosport Ambiente MT last January. Nasa 8k+ Km na ODO nya so far walang problema. About sa power kahit fully loaded(5 persons with more or less 60+ kg each) at mabigat ang karga sa likod kaya naman umakyat sa hilly areas. Kung malakas bwelo mo bago step roads kayang kaya kahit 3rd gear at Kahit mag complete stop ka pa sa matarik na road walang problema depende sa handling yan napaka lakas naman ng 1st gear. I believe ang performance nya si sakto lang sa 1.5L na engine. If gusto mo mabilisan talaga sa pag akyat then 1.5L engine is not for you.

According the Ford Philippines website, the base Ambiente M/T comes in silver, black, and white. If you want blue or red, you need to move up to the Trend M/T.

Budget ko po is 1m and ayaw po namin sa sedan kasi po sa panahon ngayon uso na mga baha, and need namin is mataas ground clearance. Ok po ba ang titanium wala po problem sa titanium AT? Ano po mga suggestions nyo? Salamat

A Warning to ECOSPORT A/T Owners Esp 2013-2015

Do not ignore your Transmission problems. nag ka problem ang Ecosport A/T 2015 namin and Ford Commonwealth is charging us 185k to pay for the rapair. ayaw sagutin ng warranty. they are claiming na binaha ang unit. they have no substantial proof na binaha basta ang sabi dahil nag ka rust ang loob ng transmission binaha na agad. we checked all parts including interior etc pero walang nakita.

according to my brother, he felt the shuddering after few months when we got it. it is my moms car BTW. they ignored it because they thought na normal. they never complained it to Ford kaya in a way may pag kukulang sila. upon research grabe pala issue ng ecosport with regards to transmission,

"New Fiesta (2011 – 2014), EcoSport (2013 – 2014)
Date Diagnosed: Oct 2013
Problem: Intermittent transmission clutch shudder on powershift / transmission fluid leak"

assuming na submerge ang transmission. saan yung kine claim nila na 550mm Wading depth?

kung sila ang sinasabi is binaha? they should provide more proof, ang saamin naman we are 100% sure na hindi binaha. since may problem ang transmission inignore ng ilang taon ayun bumigay!

so guys avoid ford commonwealth puro sarado isip ng mga tao dun! pag nag sasalita ka parang hindi nakikinig. ang haba ng explanation ko at hinihingian namin ng proof sasabihin "we are sure na binaha ang unit"

wag nyo i ignore ang shuddering, mahina ang seals ng ibang units. baka isa sainyo same year model ng saamin eventually bibigay din yan.

i already elevated the issue sa DTI. abala pero 185k is not a joke. its their words vs. the global issue on ecosports transmission problem and our consumer rights.

we just picked up my sister's Trend a/t today so i took the opportunity to ask the service department for PMS costs

yep you're FORCED to use full-synth oil. warranty void if you use dino juice. that's BS!

ok so the manual says that the ecosport needs WSS-M2C913-C oil. a quick google search reveals several brands of semi-synth and full-synth that conform to ford's spec.

this engine is just a plain-vanilla run-of-the-mill 1.5L. not a high-compression EcoBoost or something. it really doesn't need full-synth, right? why can't we just use some off-the-shelf API SJ/SM/whatever

Yeah good luck indeed! There is a popular FB page called Screwed by FORD Philippines look for it. Its not that FGP is very customer friendly too. Pahirapan pa yan. Lawsuits pa if needed.

Just avoid any Ford vehicle with a dual clutch transmission. Those are bad news.
